Someone gifted me this Burago 1980's (I think) poster of 1:24 scale models. This is great but it's also a bad thing as I now want to collect them all! I have found the Range Rover (nice model this) and the Ferrari is on it's way. I think the Escort, 911 and BMW will be a lot pricier but if anyone see's any about please let me know. Condition not really important tbh as long as they are intact.

Had some free time today to get my two bargain display cabinets up in the garage to house my large scale models. I think I can get a couple more shelves into the larger cabinet to give me more space. I now have some 1:18 duplicates after a few job lot buys from Facebook Marketplace if anyone is interested in swaps? Green Burago Jaguar E Type Convertible (Presentable but not great cond) Silver Burago Merc 300 SL (Presentable but not great cond) Silver Burago Ferrari 456 (Nice cond) Red Maisto Ferrari F50 (Nice cond)

Yep do not refund the deposit. That's his cost for fecking you around. Have you tried ebay to sell it? Stick it on £300 start bid and see where it ends up?

Wouldn't mind one of these. How much are they?

Top buy as per usual. I reckon this and the while Rolls you have a prime wedding car business on the go by spring.

We could play the spot the difference (from last Friday) Alan's Emporium Tray Game. Looks like a couple of dinosaurs have gone since last week.

I'm currently listening to Matthewson's in the background, prices seem to be on the low side. Interested in lot 325, could be the cheapest DB7 ever. https://www.mathewsons.co.uk/auction/details/-february-classic-vehicles--memorabilia-auction/?au=61

Don't forget you can SORN the car in the winter if you are not using it. That makes the £700 a year tax banded modern classic a more palatable £350 ish a year if only using it say April - October.

I think it's many things but in particular the current hike in interest rates and people's disposable income has a lot to do with it. Quite a few people bought classics as an "investment" with zero percent interest on their cash in the bank they probably thought fuck it lets buy a classic sports car that might go up in value and I can have some fun. Now it's at 5% some are thinking fuck it get the money back in the bank.

Get it fucking bought!
