  1. Fiat 127 Sorry if we've already had this, can never keep up with the thread. I had a blue one of these as my first car in 1988, UME13S, although mine did have inner wings
  2. Back end of a Ferrari leather chair with storage, I have two £550 Anyone know which Ferrari this is the back end of? (the one with pram wheels isn't a valid answer)
  3. Free shipping to those countries, if you spend at least 99 euros?
  4. To be honest, it's such a good deal I was considering it even though I don't have a Mokka, would have been a bit selfish though!
  5. Three slightly less than pristine doors for a Vauxhall Mokka, £400. Been up three days and surprisingly don't appear to have been snapped up yet.
  6. It's a Waaijenberg Canta, obviously. £995 in Maidstone
  7. Drove past this garage on Saturday, and for the first time in at least six years, the Megane wasn't there. Kings Lynn has lost a landmark, albeit not one of its more appealing ones.
  8. Was a top night there once again in front of a sell out crowd, I was at the top of the terracing on the road bend so could at least sit down on the steps between races to give my back a rest! Finished at about 10.30 I think, see a few of the regular guys filming so I'm sure there will be more highlights videos to come, but here's one
  9. Morris Mini Mk1, sounds a bit dangerous. THE ENGINE IS A UPGRADED 998CC IM TOLD WAS BOARED OUT AND HAS A JACK KNIFE GEARBOX ?
  10. Well bought! Found a few articles amongst my eBay stuff, but struggling to get the pics a reasonable size even though they're hosted externally so click here if they're not readable.
  11. His other stuff includes this Micra for £1k, which must be feeling a little uneasy every time it glances in its mirror.
  12. "The vehicle has a few parts that are on their way out unfortunately such as the head gasket and the water pump, along with a minor scratch that can be seen on the passenger side door of the vehicle" I mean, can't expect it to be perfect for that price....
  13. Pair of tyres for £15 on Marketplace, got to be a bargain? "couple of nicks in side wall as shown - not into chords" 🎵
  14. Nissan Note, unremarkable but the quote for the MoT work is eye watering, best part of £1000 for a spring and two wheel bearings, the bearings were only an advisory too.
  15. Swaffham used to be run by Trackstar, the same promoter as Kings Lynn, until about 20 years ago, it's been through a few hands since and I haven't been there for a few years, you don't really hear too much about it nowadays. Its problem is a bit political, basically most of the main tracks are part of a governing body called the ORC, Swaffham and several other smaller tracks that aren't but it's not generally an issue, drivers can race at ORC and non-ORC tracks as they please, but I believe that's not the case at Swaffham and any driver racing there would be banned by the ORC from racing at their tracks for a period of time. Not a problem if you just want to race at Swaffham but a lot of drivers like to race at different tracks. That doesn't mean it's not worth a look if it's on your doorstep, some tracks run quite happily on their own local driver base and formulae and have good racing, but Kings Lynn in particular attracts drivers from all over and I'd expect it to have more cars than Swaffham.
  16. It finished at about 10pm, that's about the usual time although occasionally it'll be a bit later. Next one there is in just under three weeks, Sat 15th October, it's all bangers again, 2 litres (mostly Mondeos), 1500cc (Astra / Focus), Juniors 11 - 16 years old (Micra & similar) and Ladies. There probably won't be quite as much crashing as on Saturday but it should be lively enough, some drivers like to race and some prefer to crash. Sat 29th October is the Halloween meeting, Unlimited Bangers so Mercs, Granada Scorpios, Jags, Volvos and maybe the odd Yank, probably a few Hearses, also 1300 Stock Cars which are armoured up Corsas and similar and the Reliant Robins which are a bit of fun. I'd expect a big crowd for that if the weather's OK, there's fireworks and fancy dress parades and other stuff for kids so it's popular with families as well the banger regulars. There is one in between those two on Sat 22nd October but no bangers that night, it's BriSCA F1 and F2 stock cars. Trackstar, the promoters, usually have the lists of drivers on their website in the week prior to the meeting and they're generally pretty accurate so you can get a good idea of how many cars to expect.
  17. It was a cracking night's racing, you can't really go wrong with a head to head team event like that. I travel all over for racing and would say Kings Lynn is consistently the best track in the country at the moment, I've done around 30 meetings this season and half of them have been at Lynn, it's well run and always has plenty of cars. Shame it's 100 miles away from where I am in Essex but usually well worth the trip. Highlights video from Impact Videos, the track's official video company, is here, too much going on to see it all on the night!
  18. Dickhead spaces his registration plate incorrectly then moans when it's misread and he gets a parking ticket. "A FURIOUS driver has been slapped with three wrongful parking fines in a month after council officers misread his customised numberplate. Shaun Maxwell, of Beresford Road, Southend, has been hit with three fines since the council switched from physical resident parking permits to online permits. The 59-year-old, who has had the same car and licence plate for 11 years, was hit with two fines in August after council officers misread the “O” on his numberplate for a zero." Maybe just have your plate correct and then there will be no need to be furious.
  19. Sorry if this is a repost but what a shame to see HK's old Cedric being broken for parts after the fairly minor bump.
  20. The Escort shows as 2 litre, only lasted until 1990 by the look of it, can't see any RS or Mexico badging so maybe a home conversion back in the days when they weren't left as 'still a 1.1 on logbook mate' Brunswick Road IP4, looks like it's been converted to unappealing residential use now. The oval was probably the most likely fate for the Granada, clean looking Ghia X by the look of it.
  21. Then photographed on an £8 digital camera by an amateur before uploading to here 😀. Here are the last few, hard to tell as it's very much in the background but might just be a Cherry Turbo in picture 7? Also love the old school spares shop with the pre-facelift Mk2 Granny outside and the shonky beige Cortina outside the Prudential.
  22. Bit more mediocrity from the 1980s. Not sure if 20% of a CF justifies tagging @eddyramrod 😀
