  1. I bet they're a tenner each 😂
  2. Now that is what I like to see. The daffs are only just starting to flower in Central Scotland, we are always a wee bit further behind. It's worth the wait though.
  3. I had that! It mysteriously disappeared though. I remember all the houses and it also had proper UK road signs. I have actually never seen a picture of a set since I had mine, despite Googling Matchbox Play Track many times and finding only similar items.
  4. Hey I've got that one too and it's spat out enough codes to save me money firing up the parts cannon. Most recently it diagnosed the O2 sensor on the TT. I do need a better one though.
  5. Something better will come up, probably on here.
  6. Hells bells I'm stumped man. Without connecting up to a more sophisticated reader I'm all out of ideas. The code above all points to the air intake sensor but you've replaced that. If it was a misfire that might have been more straightforward. Vauxhalls of that age can be a pain.
  7. Is that intake pipe meant to be like that?
  8. Greater Glasgow PTE livery! I'd have loved that one as I have the same bus on an earlier livery and I also made my own orange and black 'Strathclyde's Buses' livery.
  9. UT Models E46 BMWs were particularly prone to the milky windows and for a relatively complex model, there was no solution unfortunately. Mine is well out of the sun but sadly that means it's not very prominent on my shelves either which is a shame.
  10. Apologies for the fools errand, my 2003 Z18XE had the coolant module, A/C but just one fan. Mine did have the start of ECU failure I think as it would very occasionally hold back and throw the EML. Down the line and it was for sale with a mystery running issue and ultimately it got broken for parts.
  11. If you can make it to Bonnybridge, take it for a test at Canal bank motors. They've always been really fair when it comes to MOTs and are shite friendly.
  12. The Haynes says you need to remove the entire hub to get enough clearance to slide the strut out which I cannot currently be arsed with. The garage said they have an attachment on their gearbox jack that clamps to the bottom of the strut and compresses the whole thing upwards. Not sure how they then manoeuvred it out but I was happy to throw £50 to them which made the problem go away.
  13. I got the replacement strut fitted on the 75 today, drives good again. I am definitely out of love with the bastarding thing now though but it is not the time to make shite-purchasing decisions. The Saab has been great apart from drinking my wallet dry. Anyway, when I turned up at the garage a facelift Y reg 5 door Toyota Rockin' Rolla trundled out the garage. He said it was very good underneath and had only received 2 patches of welding. Y569DMS for the MOT checkers among us. Definitely a shite friendly garage.
  14. If it continues to press your buttons, bin it off, its only an old Astra. The E36 is far more worthy of your bandwidth.
  15. I have sprayed all sorts of materials with car paint including wood and cement 🤣
  16. Very nice work @danthecapriman, I especially like the green in the 504 and the D series Cab looks fantastic.
  17. Yes I saw that one the other day. It's surprising how many posts appear on the 75 Facebook pages asking if this 75 they've just bought is worth anything. Usually an example that's been out of MOT for 2 years, bits of broken trim littering the interior and beige cloth seats that are black and shining with body grease.
  18. Those Civics are worth quite a lot now especially in that condition.
  19. I failed miserably at changing the OSF strut on the 75 today. The online Haynes guide failed to say you need to split the ball joint because otherwise the strut is too long and won't come out the hub! This is as far as the strut would slide out. Somewhat annoyingly, everything up to this point came apart very easily. You can see the bottom arm is touching the subframe and won't go any further. Called the garage and it's booked in Tuesday to get them swapped over. Also, I need a new headlight leveller. The arm that attaches to the bottom suspension arm is missing. Must have got broken at the garage as it would not have passed the MOT like that a few weeks earlier. I tidied up some wiring while I was under there as it wasn't clipped in properly and was chafing.
  20. From yellow daffs, to yellow DAFs. There, back on topic!
  21. I remember collecting my TT from Warrington at the end of February last year and being surprised at the daffs in full flower on the managed beds at the side of the road. We are still several weeks away from that up here in Scotland. Plenty of crocuses though and the snowdrops never fail to appear at the end of January.
  22. My Cavalier itch is coming back. I'll wait until the recurring dreams start again before I do anything about it though.
  23. The pillars and and general thickness of the metal on the 75 is greater. The 75 also has 2 faint swage lines at the left and right edge of the roof. The glass at the back is also wider on the Gulietta. But it does look like the casting on the 75 is much rougher and cruder so perhaps it was indeed much modified frkm the earlier model. It no longer says made in France as by that time, production had moved to Thailand. I have a Bburago 1/24 Guilietta and 75, I'll do a similar comparison!
  24. The joyous* and fruitful*conversation with the mechanic technician at the dealership awaits you. I hope its something simple like a failed coolant cap seal, as an issue as fundamental as that on a brand new vehicle is not acceptable.
