  1. Hi Guys,,,,its been a long time since I've posted here but I just had to make an appearance here. Actually I'm the guy who gave the Denems Owners number to Sam. I had actually made contact about the 12 TS and kept contact with him for a while. He wasnt going to part with the Denem initially, but when he hinted that he might I posted it on the Renault Owners Club Facebook page as Sam states. I suppose the right man got it. The 12 TS may also be for sale, but it does need work. The car used to belong about 15 years ago to Mr. Renault 18 who posts here from time to time. It has been parked in a shed for at least 10 years now and will need a lot of work. John

brill,,,,,what i've been trying to say for years.
  3. Have a picture Looks to be a good example, despite some STUPID CUNT putting RETARDED STICKERS all over it. Looks like Practical Classics may have to change their guide price on this one---£2056 bloody quid final bid. Wonder if it reappears!

  5. I like the Safrane myself,,but its just a little too new for me.I prefer numbered cars,,Fuego Incl. Also, they are just a bit more acceptable when trying to enter a show age wise..
  6. Actually guys,,,I would love to take them all home,,25,,18x2 etc etc. What do dont want is something thats going to cost me a fortune to keep goin-----what am I doing looking for a Renault the??????
  7. Hi guys. Its been quite some time since I was last here. What a shite year it has been. Well you may remember that I had purchased a Blue Renault 20TS in Jan and was waiting for delivery. Well unfortunately, while I was waiting I lost my job. Bummer,,,no job,,20 still in UK and paid for..I had to get it home to discover that it wasnt quite as good as I had been told--whats new. Anyway,,painful decision made. After 10 years of company cars,,,I had to sell my 505GTI to fund the purchase of an affordable to run daily hence my Megane on my signiture. Next,,,20 would not realise my investent unless I tidy it up...Sills welded,,wing welded, new exhaust and paint all lower half of car. Didnt turn out too bad, except it needed plenty more and I didnt have resources to do it. I sold it and made a little profit. My name isnt Renomad for nothing, but instead of sitting on my money, I bought a rather mint R5 Auto and that was great until a rather large bill came through the letterbox along with MOT's for my and her car in the same month meant the 5 had to go. Anyway,,here I am on the lookout again. Would love a 25,,,but not gone on white,,,sorry guys Would love another 18,,buy chrome bumper prefered,,sorry again. Anyway,,,,if anybody knows of something that might suit, please pass it on. Regards again John

  10. R14 TS was my first car, followed by a GTL - going to have to be France for one I think, they are great cars to drive - I must however make the distinction between drive and own, as they were a nightmare to own, especially the GTL. The 14 TS was a really, really good car. A few years ago I owned possibly the nicest mk2 R15 GTL in existence, which in a moment of madness I decided to sell - what a tit The downside (or upside) is that now I buy them and don't get rid of any A few years ago I owned possibly the nicest mk2 R15 GTL in existence, which in a moment of madness I decided to sell - what a tit And we are both talking about the same car Richard...My eldest son will never forgive me for selling it either.

    Dacia 2000

Does that mean a supply of sub standard new parts from Romania that would fit a 20?
  12. Hi Guys,,,,well I got my R20 home..Its ok, driving 100%.Loads of history and the previous owner who had the car since 1984 had obviously done as moch as he could to maintain it. The interior is mint bar the door cards which are a weak point on all 20/30's. The body isn't perfect by any means but for what I paid for it, it couldn't have been. Plenty of filler and a few blisters but looks presentable enough. It wont get into any concourse events but will fit in well to some of the events over here in cow shit covered fields . Anyway, the towbar is gone, I retrimmed the parcel shelf yesterday as they fade quite badly, and I'm going the paint the wheels over the weekend.A new back box is on order. Actually looking through its history, its seems to have had an extraordinary appetite for exhausts! This is the worst shite I have brought home but strangely its the most appealing. I don't see any point in pouring loads of money into it(I can't as I lost my job 2 weeks ago). I'll just maintain it as best that I can to stop it deteorating and maybe, just maybe it'll get some new filler and paint as required. Its solid in all the right places, just the ends out the outer sills will needs some work. Anyway, there are a few bits that I would like to get to make it just a little better. Front Chrome Bumper(the one with the rubber insert) Bumper Over Riders for the rear(one has split) Door cards, especially drivers one in Blue. MUST BE CHEAP.
