Sorting out 2 years of backlog of spotting photos.
Some time in early 2022 my eldest decided sleeping beyond 5am was not an option. We took to pounding the mean streets of Cardiff in the early morning.

I'm in the middle of doing the front suspension on the red Astra, new wheel bearings, shocks, arms etc and thought I'd try getting the main parts powder coated.  A local place did them, six parts for £60 cash which seems a good price to me.  They certainly look smart.  I don't know how durable it will be but they talked me through what they do and it all sounded good.  I've tried various different types of paint on suspension parts in the past and all of them seem to fall off quickly.  This is polyester over a primer.  Was tricky putting spring compressors on the springs without damaging the coating: I cable tied lengths of thick plastic material from a scrap suitcase thing.  Worked well.

Anyhow, looking at it myself I'm not sure whether I should go through Iran or Russia?

I think 8 years is the longest I had a car. Not quite the money I'd hoped but it does need some tlc and I think the guy is going to give it

Interesting.  
In the Clio it was faultless.  Love it. @Tickman seems to be enjoying his too. Unfortunately I sold the Clio yesterday.
In the Merc it works fine for 2 minutes then the sound stops coming out.  Still looks like it's working, but it's silent.
I put a shitty Sony in there which works for 2 minutes then says "CD FAILURE".  Despite this the CD continues to play.
