On the subject of pronunciation, football commentators and foreign players names can be both annoying and amusing.
The most obvious one is Jesus. Can’t pronounce it “JEE-ZUS” like we all do. Some try to be correct in Spanish ( or Portuguese) and try “HAY-SUSS” or “HAY-ZEUS”, others a hybrid version “JAY-ZEUS “. Since when was Jesus Spanish anyway? Any Hebrew scholars want to give us a definitive pronunciation?

When I used to go to Glastonbury festival in the 80s, if it rained, the only vehicles that could get off the site were Landrovers and 2CVs. You’re also forgetting that with one tool, you could wind up an entire old-car forum.
@brummiejon sorry for this FTFY, but I just had to go for the joke...

I took the passenger door trim off of my first mk2 Cav to transport a freebie kitchen worktop from Birmingham to Yorkshire. I had to remove the gearknob if I needed reverse gear...

It's a quadricycle with the same limits as a 50cc moped.I can imagine that the insurance would be heavy.
As seen on another thread, don't bother with insurance...🤬

An unregistered electric bike that can do 30mph by electric power alone is also illegal, you ignorant cunt.

Popular car, designed by Engineers at Longbridge, but just at the end of the project, the big bosses in Germany decide to make it in Oxford?
No worse than any other "BLMC" product designed since 1958.
I mean the gearbox issues the petrol version had was a nod back to the Metro Turbo, the power steering issues were probably related to the fact that the electric power steering was a Lucy's Car braking Spin off. Head linings. That seems to be a rover thing. Electrics and BCM, well yes. Shit occasionally.
Nothing particularly high tech though. Just painful to fix.
IIRC the Bini was made in Longbridge and the 75 in Cowley - when Rover was sold off, the two production lines were swapped over.

If you fit metro diesel engine mounts it'll take most of Peugeot's TU family of engines, I'd imagine.

@Carl1981 it sounds like a waterpump not moving fluid.
I don't imagin an a- series pump is particularly complex to fit - maybe worth a quick browse of YouTube to see if there is a step by step guide?
K-series...😉

Petrol was less than half that price in ‘73.
I'll take a guess at 1979, because the Budget in 1970 put 4* above £1/gallon.

I know what you mean, used to be in my bed and listen to the cars outside go past as a 14year old , minis were dead easy to guess , all you hear now is tyre noise.
My mate's older brother had a Stan Stephens tuned RD350 , definitely heard that from 1/2 a mile away.

My Dad's Norton Dominator had BSA Gold Star "silencers". We lived just over a mile away from the national speed limit signs (mileposts just after the N/S and one outside the house), and one still summer's night (probably 1984) I was in the loo and I heard him crack open the throttle as he left the 30 zone.

In the sad event that it heads to the bridge would it be worth removing the exhaust first?
