  1. And another picture of Pat Moss and Ann Wisdom found at https://www.mgcc.co.uk/ann-riley-nee-wisdom-an-appreciation/
  2. A couple more from my Dad's old photo album showing his Citroën Traction Avant, the first when it was in Nyasaland, reg BT6671, and the second in Southern Rhodesia, reg S54629, with my Dad at the wheel.
  3. Austin-Healey Sprite "c/w 2 pallets of spares" no V5
  4. Yes, series I with the rectangular speedo and an auxiliary rev counter rather than the later circular gauges of the series II
  5. "Rare Land Rover pick up" "standing for few years" 2.4 diesel
  6. Triumph Dolomite 1300 - start your bids at £1k
  7. Rover P6 Estate, needs work, looks an early V8 going by the dashboard
  8. Ovlov 240GLT - requires some sill repairs
  9. Reliant Rebel - bids start at £2,500
  10. Austin 3 litre - sadly in need of some TLC
  11. Citroën Ami 8 - bids starting at £4,800
  12. Wonder how that came to be this side of the pond as I'm guessing ex US?
  13. Well they say the cost hasn't changed over the years, it still takes all the money you've got.
  14. Yup, technical malfunction with the picture download (i.e. I messed up)!
  15. I can't recall if this has been posted before but it's an A40 Farina so if it has it deserves a second post. Pat Moss and Ann Wisdom finished 10th overall in the 1959 Monte Carlo Rally winning the Coupe de Dames in XOE 778. XOE went on to become one of the first Practical Classics restorations being featured in their first issue and was sold at Bonhams last year for £45,000 including premium.
  16. Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow "Chipendale dashboard" - you live and learn, I wasn’t aware Thomas Chippendale (2 'p's please) was knocking out Shadow dashboards in the 1780s along with all the tables and chairs. I guess we should be thankful it doesn’t have a Chippendales dashboard.
  17. Triumph Herald 1200 - £3,000 buy-it-now
  18. I like them for being way over the top! The styling seems to be very American inspired so may be Ford decided to make use of the spare under-bonnet space for the spare and free up some boot room. I don't know if Ford ever had plans to fit a V8 and whether that was partly responsible for the long bonnet or whether it was solely inspired by style*.
  19. Reliant Regal - 42 years off the road to fix a leaking water pump and still not done - must work at my speed!
  20. Zephyr Mk 4 "full restoration project" "currently not running"
  21. Another Austin A40 Farina "very nice drive" £2,499
  22. Peugeot 505 SRD £5,250 Luckily I don't have £5k lying around (yes, I did check between the cushions of the sofa for loose change) as I would be hard pressed to choose between this and the Wolseley
