I've nowhere to put it obviously, but I am actually quite taken by that burgundy Sierra.

A 2dr Nova 1.0 base saloon, that did very well, lasting until February 2000. Were the front headrests optional? -
In 1995, Ford had the Mondeo Ultima. I don't think I've ever seen one, even when I was valeting at Evans Halshaw Exeter in the late '90s. Was the Ultima any good? I'm guessing it may have been the forerunner to the fully-specced Ghia X, since Scorpio Ultima had a better ring to it than Mondeo Ultima?
-
We also had the 307 Rapier around 2002/3. Basically a 1.4 S.

In 1998, Purger came up with a special edition 406 LX 'S'. Other than colourful velour, what else did that get that the regular LX didn't have?
-
In the mid-'90s, a couple who lived near me, who were in their 20s owned a red Micra Tropic and a turquoise Micra Mauritius, both bought new on the same day. They were both base, although the Mauritius had light blue seats, metallic paint and full wheel trims.

I need educating! This was quite a decent, powerful engine in the Cortina and early Sierra, so what makes the 2.0 Pinto a bad engine in the Transit?
-
As it happens, I spotted today a white '03 Citroen C8 parking up at Exeter Airport with taxi bumper-plates. It looked very clean, aside from the usual 20-year-old Citroen sparkly-stick-work on both rear sills. No photos unfortunately, as I was happily* driving the Optare Solo at the time. The reg is RE03AYU for those who want to check its six-monthly MOT mileage increments.
-
Avensis Vermont! 204,000 miles at its last MOT last month. It's done 60,000 miles over the last two years. Very good going for a 20 year old motor.
-
We didn't get these in K reg, did we?
-
Has Ritchy Kitchy of UpNdown fame seen this yet? (because SM).

That Alfa 90 is a very funny car. I love it.
-
That Prelude is proper late reg madnss to be a G reg. The pop-up leadlights facelift came in late '87 E plate.
-
This Minor had just 10,512 miles at its last MOT test in April 2011. Great shame.😢

This would be quite quick with the 1.8 unit, 5-stud wheel pattern would mark it out as the larger engine. My mate used to have an '02-plate DualFuel 1.6 16V Comfort with those same 15" wheels on 4-stud. I'm sure I've seen Elegances with the multi-spoke 16" alloys that the late SXi also had, or were they optional on the Elegance?
-
Holy Crap! That green Cavalier is already well-travelled to end up in Stroud. I used to notice it being daily-driven in Exeter around 3 maybe 4 years ago. It was very shiny although obviously resprayed. It still had those shit alloys on it back then. It also had a removable Playstation-style suede steering wheel. And I've just noticed the clocks are wrong. Early ones like this should have yellow needle gauges, not white, which came in on B reg.
-
"fitted with the 1.6 engine and 6 speed gearbox". I seem to recall these having something like 12% residuals after 3 years back when they were current.
-
Those alloys weren't fitted to the E39 post-2000, so what happened to the 2002 originals?

The Ghia looks a bit strange without the rear wiper. When did they start fitting those? We had a D reg 1.4L in the family and that definitely had a rear wiper.
-
Anyone owned a 1990 to 1996 Hyundai S-Coupe? I was watching 'Car Trouble - Chris Fulke Greville', on YouTube, that featured a dodgy one of those, and thought of this thread. If so, was it any good?
-
Very special cars these. What Car? voted this as Supermini of the Year 1993.
-
I like the rear styling on this. I didn't when they were current, but I've since changed my mind.
-
That is quite a well-looked after one. I like Lightning Silver on Vauxhalls. Bonus VW Phaeton in the background of the last photo of this ad.
-
That would be a very strange car to look at with X reg plates. Were these meant to have fake E28/E30 trims? If not, what would it have had originally?
