  1. Bus change in Västervik . The bus driver phoned ahead and made the other bus wait for me. That was really nice of him! So everything is going well. A few more minutes and then it’s time to burn some Diesel. No turbo involved…
  2. Yep, I couldn’t let someone else buy it, could I? The seller told me he had already around 40 replies so I went straight from the ferry terminal to Gamleby. Our neighbour picked up Sanna and at the same time delivered an Aygo. They then drove the T4 home while I continued north with the Aygo. I got 4 hours of sleep that night. Today I will drive the car home. No trailer this time.
  3. Then I changed vehicle, so now I’m powered by Scania instead. That’s not my bus on the picture, I plan to go further than Oskarshamn.
  4. Left my work in Kalmar and walked past this dude playing with mud.
  5. Volvo Duett 1962 in fantastic condition and a T3 from 1987.
  6. The Alfa 164 is a 3 litre. Check out the rust holes on the Audi GT. Porsche 924 was good looking from far away but up close… nope.
  7. I’m on Gotland again, this time with wifey. Some American shite: Cadillac Seville 1992 and a 1999 Chevrolet Alero V6 with a Zetor in the background.
  8. That’s probably exactly how it was and it still continues today.
  9. Audi 100cc 2,3 1988 tinkering today. Holy crap. I drove the kids to school in this! This is a picture of the bolt “holding” the lower ball joint… No wonder it felt vague, turned sharp right when you released the throttle and was all over the road. (I hope, because I haven’t done a test drive yet)
  10. A good day today. The T4 Multivan passed the Swedish car inspection. So now it’s good for two more years. Took the Audi 100 out on its first proper test drive, it needs to have the cobwebs blown out off it. It’s done 300 kilometres in the last 10 years. First drive went to an abandoned Swedish air force base. I almost had a trouser accident when I lifted off the throttle at 100 km/h and the car turned sharp right… on acceleration it turn’s slightly too the left, but when you lift off the throttle it bites. Need to look into that. Otherwise it cruises really nice. Work for the upcoming weekend includes changing a noisy generator and some other minor stuff.
  11. Visited the biggest boot sale in southern Sweden yesterday. At least that’s what the organisers claim. Always good stuff there, loads of die cast.
  12. Journey home went smoothly. We arrived at the port of Oskarshamn 6 AM, bang on time. This time I had a gentleman in his 60s beside me. He was very polite and we talked for a bit, but most of the time he was asleep. At 4:30 there was an emergency broadcast if there was a doctor onboard. Hopefully nothing too severe. Went home, went to bed for a couple of hours, then unloaded the new Audi and loaded up the old one so the new one could take its place. Thanks for all your funny comments and support!
  13. Yeah I know. That’s not in the spirit of Autoshite. I’ve been a bad boy.
  14. Oh yes! He and his brother were nice blokes. Doing the deal and loading the car took maybe 1,5 hour. After that we talked about cars for 2,5 hour. His Audi 100 Avant Quattro Turbo and his 500 000 km ex Taxi 2,0 litre E Avant was in really nice condition. Check out this Audi GT, it was quite the opposite… it was a runner thou.
  15. This thread wouldn’t fit on this forum if there wasn’t a little bit of misery involved. So check out this lacquer peel.
