  1. I’m there many times a week with students. Not far from there is a field where two Citroen XM’s rest. Will try to catch them on picture
  2. Arrived today: A mint and boxed Rover Sterling and a couple of other vehicles. Don’t care much for the E-type convertible, but I do love the coupe. A car for a gentleman. So I grabbed this one cheap, 440 was also cheap as the box was wonky.
  3. The new year started quite decent. First to arrive was a package from Ukraine. My bonus daughter was quite angry at me for buying die-cast from Ukraine. They have a war to win ! They have more important things to do than sending packages to Sweden! Second package to arrive was a Yellow Honda S800 from Atlas.
  4. Today’s haul is most likely the last for this year. XR4i from Solido, Bburago Citroen C1, a Corgi 3,0S and a couple of VW T3s. All from a couple of charity shops in Sweden’s own Jerusalem: Jönköping.
  5. Time for an update: I’ve placed an order on a front valance for project Capri on Motomobil. Hopefully it will arrive sometime early next year in one piece. Had some bad luck with a couple of packages from Autodoc this year. Changed floor mats on the Audi 100 Diesel today. A bit fiddly around the pedals but otherwise quite straight forward. A big improvement, the original mats were really filthy and disgusting. The new one is from a slightly higher spec car, but it’s such an improvement that I have no problem with loosing some originality. Also started to prepare for a proper stereo. The 25 mm power cable you can see in the last picture is a bit overkill for the vintage amplification from MTX and Coustic I plan to use, but it leaves some headroom if I want to upgrade or downgrade later on. I have yet to decide on a head unit. It stands between a late 80s Panasonic cassette player or an early 90s Sony CD-player.
  6. This turned up on a Swedish facebook group earlier today.
  7. Saab 900i. The owner has 41 vehicles. Two tractors, one Citroen DS and the rest is Saab. Oldest is a 92 from 1950, newest a 900 from 1992.
  8. Oh nice! I met a quite good looking Granada Mk 2 the other day.
  9. No one else wanted these two so I got them for the opening bid. Peugeot 106 from Vitesse and a Vanguards Vauxhall Cavalier.
  10. Sledgehammer! No just kidding, a few Audi models like 80, 90 and 100 C2 & C3 uses 4x108.
  11. Black Friday deal. Triple9 Audi 100 C3 2,3E. I’ve could have gone for some fancy paint and alloys but oh no . Instead I’ve gone for the plain white with poverty caps. Just the way my parts car would have looked like if it wasn’t for a set of Ford RS-wheels.
  12. Oh I need that Proton in my life! I made the best out of Black Friday and went EEREC (East-Europe Rear Engine Crazy). So today the two following packages arrived. More to come in the following days because I went absolutely crazy on a variety of online shops and auction sites. Tatra 1/18 and Skoda 1/24.
  13. This arrived today. After loosing two Schabak T4s on a Swedish auction site I was quite depressed. The price went thru the roof on both of them and I just couldn’t justify it. But I found out that this plain white Caravelle was finishing a couple of days later. This time there was no bidding war so here it is.
  14. Oh that 90s graphics gets me a hard-on. Is it a diesel? Edit: it is! Now I will need to be on my own for a while…
  15. I found it really cheap, so maybe you can also. It’s really nice.
  16. I just bought a new display cabinet and of course I need to fill it! So I get the same problem with storing my die-cast all over again… Schabak Audi V8 and DeAgostini RAF and Volga. Some DeAgostini yank-shite and a Verem Ami 6 and a Princess 1800.
  17. My all time favourite name: Studebaker Dictator!
  18. Goodbye Stinky! Sold back to its previous owner today.
  19. But best find today was this 1986 Subaru E10 Columbuss. Bloody awesome but rusty as hell.
