I’m colour blind so telling the difference between very similar shades of red is impossible. I do know it’s not Rosso Red. My Orion was A reg , so about 3 years newer than that car. Ford didn’t often keep the same colours for very long. Well, they actually changed them a little and called it a new name.

I think it was called Sun Burst Red. I had one of the first Orions in that colour.

It looks like a transformer just starting to transform.

In the sense it’s cobbled together from previously independent companies , BL and VAG are somewhat similar. So model range will be larger than it needs to be and there are competing cars within the same group.

Early 107s etc had weak clutches. I think they were upgraded from about 2009. Plus many would have been used by learners / new drivers , so the clutch may have taken some abuse anyway.

They seem to want to cover all niches and then invent a few new ones.

I was with Talk Talk in the early 2000s. When I tried to change ( to Orange), we went through all the rigmarole of changing , told me it was all going through, then contacted Orange entirely behind my back and said I’d changed my mind.
