Aye I'd agree with that statement. The Mondeo was more appealing inside, but the Vectra had those mirrors, and does the "an car" thing quite well for me.
I'd take the Senator. Gives a good chance to blow out some cobwebs and that. I say this, as a man who has done 10,000 miles in a 25 year old Vectra in 6 months.
