In a fit of jealousy (and maybe due to not having been used much for a few weeks as it's almost empty and fuel crisis) the modern's decided to have a battery crisis. It's not even 4 yet ffs.
Guess that'll be needing a new battery. 

Mk2 Focus is an absolute arseache.  Actually, it's more of a headache as you have to dangle yourself upside down into the passenger-side footwell after hinging the fusebox down and cutting your knuckles in the dark.  It's behind the centre console.  Much worse if you're a fat fuck like me and all the blood rushes to your head.  Once you've done it, you'll get up and fall over with the headrush.

Then never, ever do it again.  Sod that.

yes, we now have two Mondeos, I'm asking what my life has come to to end up with his'n'hers Mondeo mk4s.
However, being the 2.0 TDCi when the dpf, dmf, injectors and boost control work they are really quite good.
The B5.5 Passat the new Mondstrosity is intending to replace its going to be hard to give up, it will be missed, but I got offered a deal I could barely turn down so the Passat will find a loving home elsewhere. 
The forward acceleration feels lazy but competent as compared to the pisshat, which is remapped to some crazy power and response at low revs. However the Mondeo brakes better, drives the twisties very very well and the seats are comfortable, which is becoming important for me more and more. 
And it's bigger, Mini CF the elder can do forward rolls in the boot. 
I'm told the DMF was recently replaced so if I were to get it remapped...
No, I'll see if I can forget the Pisshat's brutal acceleration and how much fun that is.

I've only done around 250 miles but it all seems fine so far! I can't get the airbag light off at all, will need to consult someone who knows what they are doing. 
Passenger side window mechanism turned up a while back. Thermostat housing/thermostat has also turned up. And today I got the passenger side mirror. 

I was a bit worried it would be wrong but it appears to be new old stock oem. Just a shame its not painted black. But as the car is black anyway I still think it will look better then what's fitted!
Ought to actually fit it. Maybe service the car too!
