  1. This is in Norway. The cars have Norwegian registration plates.
  2. Yeah it makes more sense, here it would be difficult if not impossible to find a good C5 for that price.
  3. One thought, can you buy a car that is as good as this one and that you will like exactly as much as this one for what the cost of fixing the gearbox will cost?
  4. Yes that is unfortunately true. But when it was intended for heating, it must have become dangerous when the buses got older and the pipes rusty.
  5. I do not know why but I never checked what kind of truck this was. This was stupid of me as this must be very rare COE trucks were rare enough here in the 30's but Oldsmobile truck and COE make it very rare. So thank you for checking.
  6. 1980 Honda Accord 1.6 LX Hondamatic with only 48,000km 4557 pounds https://www.finn.no/car/used/ad.html?finnkode=264984913
  7. 1983 Honda Civic 1,3 Hondamatic with only 78,000km 4145 pounds https://www.finn.no/car/used/ad.html?finnkode=265422478
  8. Yes there are a lot of agricultural machines that are exported but there is something special about Zetor tractors they are extremely sought after more than other brands it seems.
  9. Judging by how few Zetors there are for sale on Blocket, many Zetors have probably left Sweden.
  10. Yes they were popular here too, but here it lasted a little longer until the 1960s. And was still some in use the 70's and 80's also.
  11. I know this is really a truck but is probably here there is most interest in this. There could be few buses in Norway in some areas after the war so one had to improvise and this is a good example. This is a 1946 Chevrolet truck that has the body from an old bus put on the back. And notice the exhaust from the truck goes into the bus section the old buses here could have heating systems from the engine exhaust that were led through pipes on the inside.
  12. Can you buy it back? And fix it yourself cheaply with used parts?
  13. Thank you. And I agree the Zetor has a great engine sound I like it a lot. I assume that Sweden suffers from the same as Norway that Zetors is bought for export and leaves the country Norway has apparently lost half the population of Zetors in the last 20 years. It's a little sad. And nice Zetor you have got now you only need one in full size haha:).
  14. The one in your picture is a lot like the one in my picture so they have probably been the inspiration for the construction of that bus in Norway. But what kind of chassis the Norwegian has is difficult to identify.
  15. A non functioning handbrake. And I bought a car that had just passed that had broken springs, worn out brakes and a rust hole in the floor so big that I was afraid a dog would fall through.
  16. This picture has appeared here and is supposed to be from Oslo Norway in the 1930s but that can be wrong. What I notice is the bus it has a very unusual body and is right-hand drive something that was not so unusual here. But the big question is which brand is the bus? It can be anything from American to European but since the bus is right-hand drive I guess English or Swedish? The body I think is made in Norway.
  17. Or buy a car with a petrol engine instead.
  18. Over a decade ago, I was at a Volvo truck dealer and there was talk of emissions on trucks. If I remember correctly, the emissions on 1 truck from the 1980s were equivalent to 60 new trucks then and it has probably gotten better. So I agree with you there is a reason these things exist.
  19. I think I have a right to be frustrated as older Zetor tractors have almost disappeared from Norway due to exports. And for the work we need a tractor for they are perfect.
  20. Zetor tractors are in high demand abroad so many are exported from Norway. And I'm very annoyed and angry now, a Zetor 3511 and a 4718 came for sale 1 hour away and after 10 minutes they were bought by a foreigner for export I did not even manage to call before they were sold FFS.
  21. 1968 Volga M21 these were very common in Norway as taxis and it was no wonder when the Norwegian taxi organization was responsible for the import and they were known to be durable and reliable and tackled bad norwegian roads well. Few have survived as most were worked to death and those who were left were tired after hundreds of thousands of kilometers on bad gravel roads so they did not live much longer either. So this is a rare survivor 5600 punds. https://www.finn.no/car/used/ad.html?finnkode=264345153
  22. The MK7 Escort with metric odometer also only came with 5. The picture below is a Norwegian sold 1997 model.
