  1. It wasn't actually. It was huge. I saw it in a shop yesterday and was intrigued!
  2. A what now? I'm not burning my fingers for anyone! Guitar shaped ones are the way to go

    Rozzer Shite

I could quite believe it. Plus they might have worked out what a pile of shite the KV6 engine was in it (although I had one of those in a 75, did 125,000 miles in it and never had a day's trouble)
  4. Even P reg are apparently rare as rocking horse shit. This Police car was registered in October 1996, despite the MY being 825 with the KV6. I did spot on "How many left" that 1 was actually registered in 2001.

    Rozzer Shite

How about some real, genuine Rozzer shite? Someone posted this on the Number plates page on Facebook and taken this morning. To be fair, other than the Piggy plate (which isn't really), it's a genuine heritage vehicle still owned (and driven) by the Metropolitan Police. It's apparently still in exactly the same spec that it was released in 1996. I'm going to add this to the "Late Registration" page too because it is an 827 Si registered in October 1996. There are virtual no P reg 827s that I can find. The last were N reg. It's somehow squeaked through an MOT (failed on tyres being down to the cords, which is worrying for a Police owned car). Because it has blues and twos and full Police decals, it has to be driven by a genuine Police officer and apparently was when spotted.
  6. Oh don't get me wrong, I know a number of other "chains" prepare their foods using microwaved food too. I used to work in the industry (fortunately, my pub had a microwave that was barely used with the exception of vegetables - it's an amazing way to cook veg using a little water that keeps them very fresh and crunchy) But if I wanted a microwaved curry, I might as well go to Co-op and get one for half the price.
  7. I used to be on a Spoons Facebook group and learned all the secrets. Only ever eat a burger or a steak. Everything else is either pre-prepared or microwaved. Those are done on a griddle.
  8. Poundland were selling these for a while. I wonder if he thought he'd offer them to his other Disco mates, but they'd already ditched their ULEZ scrappers.
  9. Right country, wrong marque 🤣 Well done for saving it.
  10. Interesting that he hasn't mentioned that the number plate won't be included. I suppose it might drive the price up, or the interest.
  11. Apparently, there were 6 cars and a meat wagon. But too be fair, these were fairly tame. They live in a Caravan park. I mean, you can't call them travellers, because they don't go anywhere. So yes, they're pikeys.
  12. Ah, the travellers that don't travel from the Three Cherry Trees Site. I used to work opposite them. I have many stories..... 10,000 litres of red diesel went missing one night from our place. They literally broke in the back gates, drove a tanker in and emptied the generator. On another occasion, there had been a number of motorhomes go missing locally. Said park had a number where the registrations had been swapped with regular transits and the transits had all been requested change of chassis type with the DVLA. The Police also found £200,000 in cash, a whole container full of stolen tools and loads of other stuff. Apparently, they solved a massive amount of crime in one night - something like 80% of the last 3 months burglaries and break-ins.
  13. Educate me please. Is there something inherently wrong with Lledo models or was it the car boot that was the issue? Said Car Boot wasn't the one at the back of Linslade, home of the Great Diesel Spillage?
  14. You'd probably get £250 for the number plate if the sun was shining.
  15. Whilst I agree it was probably of a time, you can still buy a Mustang that's of the current generation of Muscle cars. I just don't understand why they put the Mustang brand onto something that it doesn't possibly resemble. I mean, if Ferrari decided to come back with the Testarossa as a family SUV, we'd all be scratching our heads. I mean, there are plenty of sanguine Fords kicking about if you want one. The Puma as mentioned above, for one. Another car that was a 3 door coupe and is now an SUV. Chevy haven't turned their Camaro into an EV, neither have Dodge changed the Charger into an SUV.
  16. Why yes, because the decal is simply upside down 🤣
  17. Our local one is the "Furry Dogmother". There seem to be a few of those about too.
  18. So what we're saying is that a decent percentage of C6s are owned by members on this forum 😆
  19. I teach Amateur Radio and this is one of the old practicals we used to do. Bear in mind this is a practical electronics subject and this wasn't on the most basic course. You would be absolutely shocked how many grown men (many retired) who have no idea on how to wire up a 3 pin plug. Sadly, your son is not alone
  20. I had this in 330e spec. It was fine. Alcantara seats, autobox (which was surprisingly nice). I can imagine with a 1.5 petrol it's dull as ditchwater. For a modern car, the interior is awful. My son has an old 335D which is of course very swift, but OMG, the interior. The only thing that ever went wrong with mine was that I could never get the petrol door to open. These have a pressurised petrol tank and it would happily release the petrol, but the catch on the door never worked properly so had to be forced. BMW couldn't fix it either, despite having 3 goes at it. It was a company jalopy so I gave up.
  21. Thing is, the original scenic was in itself a nonsense car that answered a question that wasn't asked, but at least you can argue it was very different. Like a megane on steroids. Original megane.... Original scenic But this is the new Megane Believe me, it's huge. Bigger than a Qashqai. The Scenic just looks like a 3008 EV. It should be pointed out too that the designer of the Scenic has recently joined from Peugeot By the way, thanks to @Brenfor this thread. I'm thoroughly enjoying it, but will try not to take it over.
