  1. In that case I’m obviously wrong 🙄 I see it as this: What you’re actually buying will fit in your pocket, don’t worry about a trailer because the rest is literally 💩
  2. I had a ‘96 Aldi A4, B5 with a 2.6 V6, I took the family on holiday to France in it, several times. Nothing but love for it. Truly a wonderful family car, lovely engine too. Then I failed massively and part exchanged it for a W202 Mercedes C180. Why? I must have had a big bump on the head whilst drunk and on crack cocaine. The Aldi was superb, compared to Adolf s revenge for taxi drivers.
  3. Surely, this is taking the piss? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1968-BMW-2002-BARN-FIND-possibly-earliest-in-existence-/234246067505?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m2548.l6249&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0
  4. Take the roof off? is that a threat? It’s a lovely old thing, he would be an idiot to even contemplate taking the roof off, still it’s his car.
  5. That looks great, Petrol or diseasel?

  7. Oh christ, no!!! I’m afraid I can’t stand him, or the big mouthed rich yob from Yorkshire. All his loving of new Jaguar Land Rover products and Mercedez Binziz. I really despise what he did and said about anything and everything British. In my family we all knew they weren’t very good (some were, some weren’t I suppose) but we actually liked them.
  8. Quoted the wrong post 🙄 softia
  9. I remember one show where they bought a VW van, or camper. The guy who sold it was on a forum which I was on, when I had my air cooled Beetle. After the show had aired the guy on the forum was well pissed off, he said that they paid him much more than they said on tv. Then there was the Mercedes slk, with the dodgy roof mechanism and various bits like a steering rack (or something) they bought for it. They replaced some other parts without even mentioning it the show. Possibly the second worst show was Goblin workshop, how to chav up a motor in a weekend!! the worst? In my opinion was thIs one where these two guys (in the same garage/ lock up as Goblin workshop?) gave up their day jobs and bought a car with the intention of doing it up over 7 days maximum. If we can’t do it in 7 days it gets binned. so, they spent about £600 on a replacement cambelt kit and wheel refurbished… then scrapped the car!! I was totally dumbfounded, absolute fucking idiots.
  10. My daughter called to see me, and for me to check her (actually my) Clio Cumpuss over, oil, water screen wash, tyres etc She looked and said “ Dad, is it Rare As Fuck” oh how stupid I feel.
  11. Yes, I posted an image of a Mazda 323, the 1998 model with 55657 miles. At £3295 or some such figure plucked out of the clouds and being described as rare because it is the “Imola” model I thought the seller was and probably still is dreaming. Someone replied RAF mot. thank you
  12. Absolutely lovely drivers seat. It that a huge piss stain? either way, fantastic patina* pity the cloth is worn out, at less than 80,000 miles too.
  13. Ok, I’ve read through 12 pages and I can’t find what RAF ( maybe when referring to an MOT? ) means, can someone help me please?
