Cars you didn't know existed until very recently.

One would like to respectfully disagree; you were observed travelling in comfort earlier in your career: -
Yeah. I was familiar with those. So I silenced some fuckwits that uttered similar 'sentiments' a few years ago. I asked a simple question: If these Rover 75 2.0 V6 cars are so shit, explain to me how it was possible that mine took me on my longest road trip of 720 Road Miles in 17 hours and 45 minutes. To Central Europe. I had photographic evidence too. Shut them up good and proper. Essentially I had driven to Cornwall and back in one trip in terms of distances for context... 😎

I've actually seen this in the metal. And I've got pictures of it's interior... https://londonist.com/london/transport/travelcard-advert-tube-1980s-hilarious

All are Leyland Atlanteans. I think they all have East Lancashire Coachbuilders bodywork. 😎

What makes you grin? Antidote to grumpy thread

Yep! And as mentioned earlier, towed out by an apparently standard example! If only there were warning signs and depth markers available to assist the motorists... 😅🤦♂️ -

Listened to this at a friend's house recently: -
Alison is going to be £192 cheaper to insure according to the renewal letter. What a fucking result! 🙌🙌🙌

Great idea for a thread. Some disturbing results in a crash test from 1984: http://carsafetydance.blogspot.com/2017/08/forward-control-van-crash-tests-1984.html?m=1

Alison's front dampers have been replaced. Also a couple of other little bits done. Obviously I had* to go on a trip to the coast to test them. Fish and Chips was a useful way to add ballast. 😁

They're lovely, aren't they! Hod on to it too! They're quite expensive to buy these days. These are mine; the Atlantean badge is slightly* patinated... 😁

Tight-ass manufacturer short cuts and cost saves
Leyland Worldmaster replied to grogee's topic in AutoShite
Also, car manufacturers that use nice feeling plastics, etc in the front of the car, and harder; less nice feeling materials in the back... Noticed this with VW Golf, Audi A3 and some Ford Focuses...
