Yes. Adding a second would be superfluous.

I didn't get it either. Try typing intelligibly, it's really not that fucking hard. Or better still don't type at all.

You need to de-glaze the cylinders with a honing tool or at least use some oiled 600 production paper otherwise the new rings won't bed in and you really will burn through the contents of the sump.

GeorgeB reacted to warren t claim in Should Austin Rover have become Triumph instead of Rover?
BL want to make a sports car aimed at the US market so it makes sense to build a factory on a west facing port, Liverpool for example. It shuts within a few years but despite that 35 years later JLR make a success of building Ewoks for export to America in a factory a mile up the road.
I did discuss this in this thread...
.... but the cum guzzling, fuck knuckle admins at the time decided to move the thread (without my knowledge) off the main board to die in the off topic section.

Just over two weeks ago I MoT'd a Land Rover Defender 110. After a lot of faffing about booking in cancelling and rebooking, must have rebooked three times, it finally arrives and the customer leaves it with us. First thing I notice there is a ladder to the roof-rack blocking part of the numberplate. One headlight was too high and wouldn't adjust so I fail the car. Phoned the customer and the snotty cow goes "my husband fitted that and I can see the numberplate " whatever mrs just relocated the numberplate a few centimetres to the left. The headlamp surround and indicator and sidelight units need to be removed to see what is wrong with the adjuster. I could have looked at this if I'd known she wasn't going to collect for atleast 24 hours. I told her this when the snotty cow cameto collect the car. I also told her 10 working days and it's a free retest. Just scowled at me, paid, grabbed the keys and fucked off.
Fast forward to today and one of my trade customers turns up in a Land Rover Defender110. The same car with the same faults. It's out of time for a retest by two days and gets the same fucking failure.

You can prove anything with facts.
Re: littering. We live in a highly individualistic society where being selfish is rewarded, your own life being easier is the ultimate goal and fuck everyone else, maybe start there instead.

Assuming he's only removing the wear lip and not sanding the entire face of the disc, there's nothing wrong with doing that. Even doing the face of the disc isn't the worst thing, the main issue being is that you can very easily introduce run-out by sanding one area too hard.
Assuming the disc thickness is still above minimum, I'd always remove the wear lip. Same on brake drums.. grind the wear lip off (and sometimes even introduce a bit of a chamfer on the non-wearing area) makes it much easier to re-install.
