But the Polo engined T2 had a flusher grill in the front Now, there were also some rarer diesel ones that do have the snout

I love this unit but it always turns up so expensive

My uncle's was a 100hp. It's said that the old AFH was a lot better though
-
Idk about the Fabia, but my uncle owned a Ibiza 6K2 with the 1.4 16v and the thing was on its 3rd engine at like 8 years old, many people here avoid them like the plague

W203 update #2 Radio wouldn't turn on. Turns out it shat itself, unrepairable, and I hate to pony up with 220€ for a COMAND unit from the Lithuanian folks...

@LabRatto the beige phone!!!! I believe you had explained the MG6 gearbox situation here before

Are these Bini seats?

This was apparently a problem of the first Indian built batch There were people who managed to get Dacia to exchange their car with a Romanian built example, as those don't rot this badly

Today I fitted the EMF display in my friend's Berlingo. 10 years later, this van finally has a trip computer and a genuine radio

Fellow Audi 80 (and derivatives) owners already figuring it out! hahahahaha That's exactly my plan. Replace dash, do the heater matrix (which is indeed not working), and pull a switched live from the ignition switch to the radio (being a 1993 my car still doesn't have one!)

Every time I bring up Portugal's used cars, I talk about a problem. A big one. Our cars might have no rust, but the climate means you'll see a lot of yellow headlights, Pogweaseled paint.... Today, this happened. Fuck. Every time I fix a thing in this Aldi, something else breaks. Guess I'll look for a spare dashboard
-
Yes. It's a 9-7X, aka "Trollblazer" Although as unloved as it is... I'd have a ton of fun with the Aero that has a Corvette engine and apparently handles very decently for the big thing it is
-
Plus, if you get nowhere with aftermarket units and end up taking @maxxo's offer, I think you can always get a Bluetooth dongle from china that will be recognized by the OEM headunit as a CD changer, which is a nice thing to have while keeping the stock look
-
Not even sure. I asked my friend who's a PSA guru and Citroën encyclopedia, if "I needed Lexia to code the Berlingo" and he replied "being a 2012 it'll need DiagBox". I did a search on it and apparently Diagbox is the newer version, containing the software for the newer PSA models (as well as PP2000 and Lexia for older ones??? I'm kinda confused)
-
It will bleep. Just installed yesterday a factory radio in a Berlingo B9 that wouldn't work with the Sony installed there. It'll stay off though, I'm awaiting the EMF-C display to arrive from Lithuania to code everything with diagbox

And this is why McLaren decided to not open a factory in Australia

Post facelift Astra J for sure

B6/B7 A4 cabby dashboard and B8 A4 engines!
-
My brother had a facelifted one. For me it's still one of the best subcompacts ever made. Looked amazing in facelift form with the stock 17" wheels, the interior was very nice for such a cheap model, and the engine was just superb

After the Audi, the thing for fixing ciggy lighter bulbs continued. And then I found out Mercedes seems to deliberately design the lighter bulb holders to break. One "new" 12V socket salvaged from a wonderful blue C180 with blue interior later, and another bulb swap, it's all working now
-
Actually, the cab in 2013 only got a deep facelift, so we can say they used that cab until 2021!

So, my W203 Mercedes radio decided to quit working. Only hangs in the Mercedes logo and doesn't do anything. Everyone says "it's a break in the fiber optic ring, check your accessories fitted" My car doesn't have any. Fuck.
