  1. Them theres the breaks. Helped my mate tow his last mk 1 escort to its new home. Wanted it myself though had only enough for a 16th let alone the 600 quid asking at the time.
  2. A simple man with simple pleasures. Up early. Helped by neighbours getting raided. Thanks for that and thanks to the tidy pc for moving the bully van out the way so i could hook up the trailer. Bacon sandwich 🥪 A tyre that goes round all the way round when air added First at the gate for materials Nice cuppa Bricklaying today. I like bricklaying. Have laid two before i left the flat.
  3. Defo sat in some water near some steel. Been painted a fair few times too.
  4. There normally is a good showing. Last Thursday of the month is worth a visit if you're ever in the area. Used to feel that way about scooters though I now save my irrational hate solely for Harleys. When someone sparks a conversation with me about bikes and starts banging on about Harleys I just can't help wanting to punch them. Irrational I know though fact it is. Otherwise its all love. Rainbows, unicorns and roundabouts. Peace.
  5. Don't worry plenty man dem being sucked dry (not in a good way) by other means. This made me laugh in the back of the bimmer considering he ain't paying shit.
  6. #2 child expressed an interest so naturally jumped on it. They wanted to play about with the camera and the chance to get a bit of one to one time with a teen child is not to be missed. Have been a few times before as its on my doorstep. Nice rockerbilly vibe with added spookyness. Mod ped gang was strong too. Just my phone pics here. Will chuck up the child's ones if when they sort them out.
  7. The ulez builder. Riding around on the bump stops with a massive roof rack and a car absolutely full of tools and supplies. Can ne found at the merchants moaning about the loss of his transit.
  8. Am not sure how this wheel achieved this level of patina or indeed why but i kinda like it. It holds air better than the red one on the other side too.
  9. The Tim Tam Slam. Couldn't remember the name of it. My sisters introduced me to its delights when we were all in Auz last year.
  10. mmmm there the ones you can bite the ends off and drink your tea throw. well jealous.
  11. Keep the dream alive. Its be 25 years to get that garage. Theres a few things that aren't ideal though am very happy with it and full well know i've lucked out.
  12. I lost a good friend last week in a motorcycle accident. He was 42 years young and leaves behind a wife, two sons, a loving family and countless friends both here in the UK and NZ were he was born and died. Theres no grin there its very sad. I find in these times you take what you can. This good man lived his life and was 100% in all he did. This he would of loved. And it made me grin.
  13. In the old world yes. This may have something to do with me never paying to park a bike though did think all bike parks were free up town. All on your reg these days pay by phone. Maybe i could say i don't have a phone and was walking around to find a phone box?
  14. There's a lot to like there thought also for me it smacks if trying too hard. Kinda like a main stream sell out rapper. "How you sell soul to a soulless generation who lost their soul." This is just my opinion. And a little bit of Chuck D .
  15. I has new lockup. Its a mofo double for the same price as my third of a leaky single. So pleased. Was literally more excited than when i picked up the keys for out flat when we bought it 20 odd years ago. Decorated it already shall move in over the weekend. Good painter paints themself first. No chance of running the lecky from my window though have some slightly shady plans. Can run lights off my leisure battery for now. Not tried yet though looks like the dingo might fit even with the rack on. This shit means the world for a lifetime curb mechanic. Happy man.
  16. Since when the fuck did you have to pay to park your bike up town. To be fair there was a sign though i didn't see it as never knew paying to park a bike was a thing. Arse.
  17. Just joined facebook as i want to access marketplace. Mate sent me this pic of me riding the old Ural. Did a three up round the coast uk trip on it this was somewhere in Norfolk shortly after the last time i cut my hair. Wish I still had that bike.
  18. Ah nice. Twins make a great road bike i feel.
  19. Was thinking this when mate was interested in @Rave warm one. Mate went off the idea though did think if i had the space could throw some hay over it and coin it in as retirement plan.
  20. Like these though know nothing about them. Is it a twin? I think I like them as they remind me of my first legit* road stead a mighty AR50. 80 of course, thats the non legit bit. Blew it up of course too. Wanted a gpz 9, still do.
  21. Focus has just failed to proceed the ungrateful bastard that it is. Am sure* its just a failing battery and nothing far more untoward with its wanky modern electrical bollocks. Winters coming think this ones going in the scarp pile. Might just have enough old batteries/lead and brass taps to buy a new one on trade. Was rather hoping for a bottle of single malt but hey ho. Mrs is pissed. I need the carvan all week and next as running the firm whilst the others are away. Pointing out walking to work would be far cheaper did not placate. Best finish up the tiling and get down the factors. Edit; New battery added and normal service has resumed. Could of well done without shelling out for that on top of water bill/pocket money and general hiked prices of eveything but hey ho. Have enough money left to pay for fuel to get to work and plenty of packs of 39p supernoodles plus could do a dry week anyway. Look its just made it back home. Once again. Winning.
  22. Well as it turns out... Thats a bit shit.
  23. In typical style on the day of leaving this happened. Mate had brakes and tyre changes to do I had chain and sprockets to fit plus tyres and since all went well decided to fit the rear shock and front fork extension kit. All the time in the world turned into running late and bags were packed in a rush to hit the road. Boyed with false hope tyre levers and spare tubes/pump were left in my garage. First blow out was approximately three miles in so came back for the bits we should of packed. Didn't pick up the repair kit mind. Mistake number two. Great weekend away had the weather on our side if not the gods of flat tyres. Back shocks a big improvement and the added ground clearance a godsend. knobblies were well worth fitting too as lots of the going was sandy. Did a 160 mile loop on the Saturday before of which 70% was in the dirt. Great stuff. Berlingo now has lots of tread on all tyres. Pimp. It passed a mileage erm milestone. It celebrated this by throughing up an airbag warning light. Nearly 10 thousand miles in my ownership has earnt its keep many times over.
