    Spotted in Wiltz, Luxembourg today. Sadly I wasn’t quick enough to get a picture of the VW1600 Fastback I saw earlier.

    There was also a Pilote special edition. Based on a 16RS but with black velour (mmmm) GTi seats. And go faster stripes. Here’s mine (owned 1996-98). The original hub caps were gone by the time I owned it.

    My dad had four 1100s - all company cars. Each year a bloke from head office showed up with a new one. Bristol to Dundee in the early 1970s 🫣.
