  1. Just buy a petrol Toyota or Honda whatever size you need and see what 4k buys you at that size.
  2. Agila

    More tax

Lexus Rx 350 going up from £695 to £735 apparently. I've gone from 56k to 86k since 2017 and paid more in ved than I paid for my car now. Averaged probably 18 mpg as well. Still drive on local shitty pot holed roads.
  3. Another shout for shitty astras and focus. I think it's usually shear numbers that mean some still survive. Fairly cheap and easy to hobble through the MOT every year until something major happens. Zafira you could add as well. Run on a shoe string until they need £1500 spending on them.
  4. Those lancias are ace but the panda is acer*. Always liked them and really should try one.
  5. Hope it's one of these sexy bastards. Chod speed anyway.
  6. Can't sleep because reasons. On YouTube and up pops some idiot with a channel just scratching scratch cards. How is this a thing.? Trying to justify spending £30 a day on gambling I guess. No idea why it's on my YouTube.
  7. Also it was on here for ages, listed on eBay at £900 and no bids. I pm'd asking what would buy it, waited in line at the £750 asked, a few pulled out etc (life reasons etc not the cars fault). When I got the green light I picked it up that weekend.
  8. Yes. In fairness they are fairly cheap. £1500-£2000 would get a really nice one. I budgeted to put £500 into it, the car didn't need this but I chose fairly cheap little bits to sort to my liking. The wheel cost would be offset by selling the originals. I normally am happy to run a car on £100 to £200 pcm PCP budget basis on each car I have. Take this car for £750 plus £250 (=1000)for a few bits minus £200 for the wheels that were on it, that equals £800. Then take 300 scrap value? and deduct that, it costs £500 then divide by the 4 month's = 125 pcm pcp It's basically purchase price + all other costs excluding tax and insurance. Then deduct scrap value and divide it by how many months I use it. If it's under £200 per month, I'm happy.
  9. It's my regular photo taking spot. Edit. For car sales photos that is, I'm not a ****ing weirdo Don't ask what's behind that wall.😄 Car was near the red circle. 🪦🪦🪦🪦🪦🪦🪦🪦🪦🪦🪦🪦🪦🪦🪦🪦🪦🪦🪦🪦🪦🪦🪦🪦🪦🪦🪦🪦🪦🪦🪦🪦🪦🪦
  10. Permission to have a "we hate invacars thread"? A nice safe space to criticise them with like minded individuals. Anybody who likes them don't post in it as it's probably not the thread for you. Semi serious?
  11. Er...no. I'm asking for actual money for them🤣 You've no idea how many positive comments I've had about them in the real world 😲 Everyone on here hates them though😄 In fairness I've checked with my wheel place and it's £1.30 per kg in scrap. I have a few bmw wheels to sack off there. Ps #don'ttellDave 🤫
  12. To do list. Sort an oil leak Polish headlights MOT at some point Maybe. Change cd player for dab? Tidy front wings a bit. Rear number plate bulb not working near side, (bulb is fine) Possibly adjust driver front window. Maybe sort arse warmers in front. Replace arm rest Replace window frame strip at outer top. Definitely not. Any bodywork. Other things I've done, removed black electrical tape from eml on clock, no codes or fault, it now comes on and off like it should. Put a new key fob button pad. Sorted a fog light bulb on the right side (car told me it was left side) And that's it. Then I'll park it next to my colleagues Audi's that they pay £600 a month for😄. Drives quite nicely, bit boring but fairly comfy. Looking forward to the next four months then it maybe for sale with a link to this thread.
  13. Just fitted the wheels today. £120 from Leeds and I've put a replacement part worn on the spare £47 for a good ride 235/45/17. Decent enough condition and they are from the facelift b7 and seem to suit it. A good bunch of lads sorted the cleaning duties for £7, apparently "just take it steady with the roof/window etc" translates to blast the **** out of it and soak the occupant (not really). Looks how sexy it now looks.
  14. I decide as it was only temporary not to go mad with it but then I went on eBay. The glovebox latch was locked shut (tadts) £30 and 15 minutes sorted my urgent gloves storing issue. A climate control module was replaced due to a couple of slightly busted buttons £35 I regassed the Aircon m9's, which for the first time in existence of those words actually appeared to work. DIY job with a can I already had. Let's hope it retains it 🤞 Now a "normal person" would probably stop there but the wheels...the wheels man. I couldn't handle it so replacements were sought and it needed* Audi bolts.
  15. Cheapo A4? Well yeah £750 is cheap in my eyes. Temporary? Well it always would be, I've come from an estate, perfect dog transport to something completely unsuitable. (MOT until 5th May) But....750 quid, so it was bought. No collection thread but it went like this. Train from my local station into Leeds, an hour to change then onto my top secret location. Picked up by the shitter owner 👍 and did the deal. So what does £750 get you?
  16. https://www.nmplive.co.uk/celebrity-appearances?sort=3 Barry from EastEnders is cheap. 300 names to choose from.
  17. Whatever it is? it will be mint, hopefully there will be no holes in it.
  18. Thought that was Rev for a minute. 🤔🤣
  19. Same thing happened to a fitter who was working on my faulty tail lift. Broke down for same fault a week apart and same fitter comes out and finds it still attached to the frame via worlds strongest magnet.
  20. "He's one of your own. He's one of your own. Boris Johnson, he's one of your own" Why are we all buying cows now? Nevermind I'll take 2 randoms even though I've no need or want or space and collection would be tricky on the train. I've got the sister website set up....Cow shite.
  21. Nah. He's got the Zafira to keep him warm 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🚒🚒🚒🙏🤞
