Just buy a petrol Toyota or Honda whatever size you need and see what 4k buys you at that size.

Lexus Rx 350 going up from £695 to £735 apparently. I've gone from 56k to 86k since 2017 and paid more in ved than I paid for my car now. Averaged probably 18 mpg as well. Still drive on local shitty pot holed roads.

Another shout for shitty astras and focus. I think it's usually shear numbers that mean some still survive. Fairly cheap and easy to hobble through the MOT every year until something major happens. Zafira you could add as well. Run on a shoe string until they need £1500 spending on them.

Can't sleep because reasons. On YouTube and up pops some idiot with a channel just scratching scratch cards. How is this a thing.? Trying to justify spending £30 a day on gambling I guess. No idea why it's on my YouTube.

Also it was on here for ages, listed on eBay at £900 and no bids. I pm'd asking what would buy it, waited in line at the £750 asked, a few pulled out etc (life reasons etc not the cars fault). When I got the green light I picked it up that weekend.

Yes. In fairness they are fairly cheap. £1500-£2000 would get a really nice one. I budgeted to put £500 into it, the car didn't need this but I chose fairly cheap little bits to sort to my liking. The wheel cost would be offset by selling the originals. I normally am happy to run a car on £100 to £200 pcm PCP budget basis on each car I have. Take this car for £750 plus £250 (=1000)for a few bits minus £200 for the wheels that were on it, that equals £800. Then take 300 scrap value? and deduct that, it costs £500 then divide by the 4 month's = 125 pcm pcp It's basically purchase price + all other costs excluding tax and insurance. Then deduct scrap value and divide it by how many months I use it. If it's under £200 per month, I'm happy.

Permission to have a "we hate invacars thread"? A nice safe space to criticise them with like minded individuals. Anybody who likes them don't post in it as it's probably not the thread for you. Semi serious?

Er...no. I'm asking for actual money for them🤣 You've no idea how many positive comments I've had about them in the real world 😲 Everyone on here hates them though😄 In fairness I've checked with my wheel place and it's £1.30 per kg in scrap. I have a few bmw wheels to sack off there. Ps #don'ttellDave 🤫
