It's exceedingly close It terrifies me! I've pretty much done what I can for a pass, I don't think it'll pass but you never know
-
visited the northern rally by the citroen car club today it was excellent of course got myself some XM goodies too which is exciting massive tinkering session tomorrow
-
they are very nice wheels indeed!
-
i should be in my XM i see no reason why not worst case i'll be in the C5 absolutely mega worst case i'll be in my dads modern civic
-
Apologies for being late to reply, been checking schedules etc Put me down for 1 night in a tent likely Friday to Saturday
-
I like stuff like that, I've got one similar somewhere It made a horrible buzzing noise and smelled weird last time I used it I decided to just buy a new one especially as I'll be leaving it unattended
-
I went on the Internet and I've found this I'm likely going to buy this as a temporary solution so my washers can work I see no reason this won't work, its cheap enough anyway
-
I poured autoglym interior cleaner on it and scrubbed rhe carpet cos I can't make it any wetter
-
Their screenwash is very good Honestly the main reason I go there is due to sheer convenience, it is very convenient and easy
-
i must admit, until a few weeks ago i was not a halfords fan at all been quite helpful for this project, certainly better than euro car parts for small stuff their own brand stuff is quite good quality i've noticed
-
see i'd be tempted by one of those or even an ebay intelligent charger but as i'll be leaving it unattended on charge i decided to buy one from an acutal shop it seems quite good quality, it was £35 which i think was quite fair really charged it for 3 hours today, got a good amount on the digital screen apparently
-
Mounted is used loosely, they're not attached at the moment Of course I'll be mounting them properly
-
i don't think this looks too terrible really.... made the interior much less of a biohazard today, got rid of most of the mould too glovebox is held shut with velcro, seems to work quite well! i need to unsieze the washer pumps in the coming days, and i do hope that radio i've been sent arrives soon
-
bit of C5 love today exciting times bought a pair of genuine front mud flaps which i fitted today i then decided to give it a good wash and polish in preperation for the citroen car club northern rally tomorrow looks absolutely fantastic i must say!

Hmmmmm, yes I do believe that's a low state of charge, could well be the cause of the alarm issues? On charge as I type, currently just cleaning up the interior to see how nice I can get it Mmmmm electricity
-
thanks for the offer just been to halfords this morning and bought a digital charger with a screen n everything!
-
i think it's more due to only running it for what, 5 minutes at a time at idle mostly 2.1 probably isn't the easiest engine to turn over
-
Checked it the other day, all was well Battery is brand new
-
i wonder..... i've been doing very short runs of the engine since i got the car, like 5-10 minutes at a time i wonder if it's a low battery causing this issue? it did seem to crank a bit slower this morning might pop over halfords at some point and get a battery charger, can get a good one for £50

not massively feeling it today deicded to sort some of the wiring in the footwell this was the mess i had to deal with, the padding from the dash trim would frequently jam the throttle down which is very exciting spent about 2 hours faffinf around with that at a stupid angle managed to get it looking like this which i'd say is a significant improvement! oh and now the alarm seems to be working again? going off a lot which is bloody annoying! as i say, that's all i did, i planned to do more but just didn't feel like it i need to find out how to disable the alarm, see if i can just unplug it for now
-
Yes I shall be attending on Saturday
-
going to rewire the interior light circuit today was successful apart from when i came back from collecting supplies i did a silly and opened the garage up........without going in the house first of course, setting off the burglar alarm, which was exciting
-
i buy them cos they are comfy! very comfy and last a long time yes got some rewiring to do i think
-
i must admit i don't quite know what to do about that only thing not working is the blower motor and interior lights there is a fan for the auto climate control in there, so could it be related? not going to be an easy fix
