Just spotted this 1968 Ford Corsair on eBay. It's an F-reg, but somehow it's ended up on a prefix rather than a suffix.

Can’t agree, they work just as well as any small, cheap ‘Everyman’ car ever did. They are actual car sized as well and they can travel at 70mph all day long. Technique is needed for different cars. If you don’t learn the one for the car you are driving then everything is crap.
my unpopular opinion is that all French cars are better to drive and more fun than anything built in Germany. Often more reliable as well, this comes from my time working at a bmw dealer, all I can say is don’t believe the hype

I’m not sure anyone else who’s driven both would agree, but that’s opinions, they are all different

Blocking a live lane in anticipation of a merge point further up the road should result in an instant driving ban.

I had a silver R reg Felicia estate just like that. I did 80,000 miles in it in about eight years before the rust finally beat it. Idiots.
    I like this bit.

So he named it after his late friend and not the badge on the boot. That was a happy coincidence.
I completely fail to see why this is considered newsworthy.

I've seen this a few times now, I wonder what the story is.  221k at its last MOT too, good going.

There's a batch of 10, built in 2003 for a taxi company in Bermuda. The buyer had gone bust by the time they arrived there and after sitting at the docks for a few years they eventually found their way back to the UK and were registered on RK08 plates.

This is the mentality you are dealing with that they think by putting up the tax a hundred quid a year will have you all running out and buying a £40,000 electric car. Life is very straightforward in the minds of a lot of the middle/upper class that are in Government. Simply put your hand in your pocket and spend your way out of the issue, I can honestly see a situation coming about where the average working person is put back to a position they’d be in the fifties where access to a car was unlikely unless you had a fair bit of wedge in your pocket.

Great to see it still about.
But, that Granada! Fantastic to see one without chrome arch trims, wheel embellisher rings etc. Such a clean design.

Quite the morning!  I had a client meeting in Ely which is always a pleasant jolly.  Once completed, I decided to take a middle-class deviation to Waitrose for a Bear Claw pastry and orange juice following a productive appointment.
Then, I spotted something out of the corner of my eye.  I was so excited, I abandoned my car in a bus stop and forgot to put my handbrake on in a fluster!

Communications were sent to @Skizzerand @Cheggers, with whom - via Whatsapp - we share our love of the unloved.

Things then took a very quick change of direction as I pulled into Waitrose

This is the best thing I've spotted in years. Actual years.  A Pre-facelift MK2 Granada 2.3 L in full 'Euston Films/Minder' condition and spec.  Just. Simply. Amazing.

These still look so bloody good.  I wanted it, there and then.

I've had to come home for a sweet cup of tea and a lie down.
PS - this is a maximum 2 hour car park, so it's definitely being used.  Fair play to them too.
