Hi Conan, thanks for the info, using the chassis number it appears to have been manufactured in 81 and registered in 83. I’m sorry if reducing the stock of polonez by one in Thailand has caused you pain. It certainly wasn’t my intention, we did find another one very similar to this for sale in a slightly worse condition and on bmw alloys. I did toy with bringing them both over but didn’t in the end. I have a couple offsets of these, some whites and some silver.

It has aircon although I’m thinking of removing it as the blowers for the aircon sit where the radio should be and the radio is on top of the dash and it’s annoying me,

I know of a dealer in the West Midlands that was given a couple of polonez fitted with the fiat 2 litre twin cam for evaluation. I don’t know what happened to them, unfortunately said dealer is now dead.

As far as I know the k series engined cars were not sold in Thailand, if you aren’t bothered about lhd they are readily available in Poland.

9j0023 is the one that I eventually imported, the yellow is the one that got away and the grey and white are cars I bought off banger racers.
