Preface was the better one as it was manual. Auto box on these is horrible IMO, gears are way too long. 
 
If you’re after more power, search for TD5Inside. Portuguese chap who visits and travels round the UK mapping, around £160 IIRC and is the best in the biz.

Today I took the walrus up to my unit to offload the boxes of parts and spare car ramps that came with it. I now have 4 sets of car ramps of different sizes. 🤣
I found these in the boot, neatly tucked into a proper carry case

winner. Set of nice roof bars will come in handy!

I'm kinda lost for words as to how epic it was. The fact we were drinking til 4am this morning doesn't help.
Did 1 lap in the Clio and 1 in the Megane. I was definitely a bit nervous but both Stu and James know the way round it. The Megane did it in around 8m20s in traffic and with a yellow flag slow zone. Not bad for being built in a shed in Fife😎
Sadly we couldn't get on the GP circuit as it was rammed, also the museum is shut while we're here. Guess I'll just have to come back🤔

That's also what they say ( mainly to appease land owners I think) but I'm not convinced as you just spin more.
Was the first time i've wanted a bit more power than the ol 250x . Just on the muddy uphill fields when are just pinned wide open with your ass on the rear light ! I was struggling to keep it lit up in 3rd . But 99% of the time its a perfect motor for local tight tracks and doesn't beat you up after a couple of hours like 300 smokers or 450's do.
 

Absolutely fine at 70. Did a big motorway journey to Devon and was remarkably pleasant.
