  1. Makes a change from the John Williams, Holst and Vivaldi they seemingly have on repeat.
  2. It was an Grate Day at the FoD. None of my pictures are in any way as good as @Crackers' but I'll post a few. GM Corner The inaugural rail proving run Oh no! A derailment. The derailment assessment team was assembled The cleanest Acclaim I've ever seen- @GoGently is taking very good care of it The farmer goes shopping The farmer tries to scare off a French interloper ...and fails. This was probably the closest we got to the Ami. "High speed tractor" it definitely was!
  3. Lolz🙃 Snapchat-1533845428~2.mp4 Excuse the ClassicFM. I got bored of the live performances on Radio 2.
  4. Just had a brunch. Packing the car with shit, including a camping stove, cup and teapot; Citroen car jack; my wheel trims; paint and a few tools and camping gear.
  5. Splendid. I'll be there around noon.
  6. You came a day early? Eager bastard you. What's the weather set to be like?
  7. Oof! that sounds like a painful punishment in every sense of the phrase.
  8. I might be barking up the wrong tree but would actual air pressure/flow as a result of the OE filter housing be causing an issue somewhere? I guess the best way of trying is clamping a cone filter on it.
  9. I found this was rather useful when I was travelling across thr country to college- manually re-tuning wasn't fun and was near-constant on some stretches of the A303.
  10. It isn't anymore. If you decide to replace I highly recommend getting one with auto frequency and RDS, so it tells you what station it's on as well as retuning while you're travelling.
  11. You'll probably have a set number of retries before it bricks itself. Back when headunits were exciting and desireable things, this was great at frustrating the thief trying to shove it in his Nova Merit, as well as the rightful owner who's lost the keycard that was inset in the manual.
  12. That doesn't sound right to me. Out of curiosity, what does the back of the headunit look like?
  13. Damnit! That being said you should still be able to enter both codes. If one's wrong you'll have to wait a while. https://www.radio-code.co.uk/clarion-radio-codes.html Or you pay a dodgy webshite.
  14. Is it a Blaupunkt radio perchance? If all else fails you can pay A Man Online to decipher the code from the serial numer on the back.
  15. I remember a few years back BMW used the line "sometimes what you want is what you need". I think it was on a 7-series advert or something on TV.
  16. Ooh that sounds like a backpressure issue to me. I wonder if a re-tune would help.
  17. Gonna go this time. I'm sure of it. Perhaps this'll encourage me to install my (algae-ridden) resprayed wheel trims.
  18. Congrats on the passing. What's it like riding on the CX spheres?
  19. BX has returned a pleasant 45MPG after some more tuning, which makes me rather happy.
  20. It's authentically dangerous. I like it.
  21. We've only had the general waste get collected here- nothing else has been collected so I'll probably be sorting all the recydling rubbish out and making a journey to the tip... Provided they aren't still running on an appointment-only basis (and sometimes close at 1PM if they're feeling lucky).
