I'm looking at a couple of these at the moment with immense interest. There's also a TTiD "sport edition" which seems to have the same 180bhp engine as the Aero.

Only on this place would the older, slower, less well equipped car be the more desirable version.

Christ, that's heart in mouth stuff - the wipers on that were never that good to begin with! Had some interesting* drives on motorways in the rain in it myself. Overtaking a truck in the rain was always a fun* experience.

VW ripped off the side profile of the Merc CLC for the Passat CC. Indeed, they ripped off the entire concept for the car.

Fiat 500 hybrid as a hire car. I much preferred the Panda I had last time. The 500 has a horrible driving position, feels as extremely tiny as it is, and has annoying notions that the totally unpretentious Panda has shed. The Panda felt more honest - the cheap dash plastics and stingy equipment are more in keeping with its character. How can they get away with such a cheap feel on what is supposed to be a fashionable, desirable car?

Zero on all counts for me. The C6 has never refused to start, it's what happens after it's started that's usually the problem.

This. The rear door shape could follow the line of the wheelarch and it would all look far more cohesive but for some reason they decided to have that confused mess of lines instead.

The combination of the shape of the door and the shape of the wheelarch on a Pug 2008. A mess. Could have just had the door follow the line of the plastic. There are a few other SUVs which commit this design sin but the 2008 is the worst.

The C6 is back! And I had a chat with an admirer outside the garage while waiting for the guy to turn up. £350 quid lighter, but fuck it. It's back and I'm in love with it again.
