Site accommodation. My bus is a one bed flat compared to the others which are more like small mansions. Slide outs galore. Mine is the oldest and smallest.

I can only liken it to some form of self harming, except with rusty old barges instead of razor blades….. 🤔😳😳

Amazing! That looks like exactly the right combo of yellow / noisy / that particular type of fast feeling that you get with 125cc’s and lots of gearchanges. FUN
I don’t fancy their chances at being able to hide their approval of the sound and smell of a 2 stroke.
I’ve had a bit of a fleet shuffle recently which means I’m gonna sell my “I would never sell this”  LML actually.

I'll have to get a photo of my mates Smart with tow bar and a LPG filling point. Although the LPG goes into a bottle in the back for his motorhome use. He gets some looks when he pulls up to the LPG with a bloody Smart.

If you're thinking about it a PK could be a good option, they are about the only remaining Vespa that aren't mega coin.
You can get more or less complete projects for under a grand fairly often. PXs, V range smallframes and even flipping LMLs are strong money nowadays.
This looks good to me for a running and MOTd 125: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1140181676551443

I hated that Servetta I built for my dad. Loved how it looked hated riding a scooter (coming from bikes that actually handled). Now you've posted them videos I just caught myself saying "you know dad, I'd have another. Probably a vespa this time though." Damn you Dave, damn you 😁

Production values are not going to have any of our resident youtubers worrying about their ad income any time soon.
The camera ended up pointing kinda down throughout, I do look at the road when riding, honest.
The engine noise and wind combo sound like someone blasting gabba into a biffa bin through a blown speaker at some points, but there, VIDEO ENOUGH FOR YA?
Fun fact: the ANC sign at the start of the second vid points to the entrance of the Ashdene Naturist Club.

What about this beauty still working for a living in Rawtenstall next town on from me. Manserghs has never looked any different in the last 40 years I've been alive. We have one of these at work that I use as our shunter to move work around the site. Ours is on an 04 plate with twin rear axles and the 420 big block for raw power (and a lot of smoke as the turbo oil seals are fucked).

The radio was always naff in my 1990 MX5.  I decided a speaker upgrade was on the cards.  When I removed the grilles.....

    NICE ONE

    Morning people…
Frankly, I can’t believe I managed to get one new purchase past the boss last week…

With that in mind, the only sensible thing to do was to try and push my luck even further and negotiate the acquisition of one more.
So here we are. It’s started well enough anyway with a Father’s Day card…

followed by a light snack to ease our journey south….

Now got to go and swap cars. This is sort of live, by the way….

    Just wanted to post this.

Still cracking on with this but been flat out busy so haven't had a chance to do a write up.

It's currently looking a bit of a mess right now.

Even my work area is a mess. This is after tidying it too!

Have all the panels to complete this bit with now though. Plus will have a few patches to go in too. I just need to start welding them in.

I've got a few more bits from Moss to arrive still, hopefully now I should have everything I need now both mechanical, interior and bodywork. Except maybe anything else bodywork side on the drivers side. Hopefully not as much as this side! I definitely can't pick that side this time...

Just putting this out there, but in the 25 years since her death they never found that white Fiat Uno that punted Princess Di's Merc in to the wall in Paris.
Yet here you are, in France 25 years later...

The car is still running sweet! I’ve just driven back to the hotel after the long run and it started and drove as if it had just done a run to Tesco’s.

Well unbelievably I’ve made it to Pandino!

The show doesn’t start till tomorrow and the town was pretty dead this evening so I headed to a local pizzeria which was classically Italian and great.
Its been a really tough day today. Set off early from Briancon in baking heat. Drove over the border into Switzerland, got the usual rodding for a Vignette. I then proceeded to spend 2 hours stuck in traffic round Lausanne although the lake is bloody beautiful. The cars radiator fan has been running full tilt all day.
I then drove the Great St Bernard pass over into Italy, which was both fun and spectacular. Something I’ve wanted to do for a few years.

It's been a quiet day for me in circusland. Had to change a couple of non working cisterns in the toilet unit so it was down to Screwfix and a couple of hours work. Because there are no isolator valves I have to shut off the water and electric pump, stick a stop end on and turn everything back on because everyone here uses them. There were no stop ends on site so that was one trip into grinock .  Then another trip to get the bits, which you would think I would have got the first trip but needed an example as this unit was done at a bargain cost, nudge nudge, in Ireland and had quite a few odd bits incorporated for economic reasons and I'll be honest I don't mind bimbling about to get stuff.                                                                  As I am now senior manager in water management I have been studying the next site in Edinburgh. Looks like the hydrant is in the middle of a small parking area junction which will make things interesting and the site is 2/3 hundred metres away so I'm off to get another 50 metres of pipe tomorrow. Tomorrow is looking easy as well. Basically it's a bit full on and longish hours for four days then 3 easy ones.  As you can imagine it is its own small world/community and it's really nice because everybody says hello and sort of pass the day stuff. Learning everybody's name is bloody challenging as I've never been great at that. So far I know of seven different nationalities here but I think there are others. Found out today that the electrician is Hungarian.
