  1. What a good looking car though. Always thought these were handsome even in period. Which probably made me an odd child 😄
  2. Both of mine are compliant. Z4 3.0Si and Fiesta ST150. And both great fun. Technically all 3 but I doubt you'd want to daily a frankensteins monster of an Austin A40.
  3. New control cables and or adjustment can help but to be honest they are shit and notchy as standard. Most dash mounted shifts are. Vans have never been as nice since everyone bombed off floor change.
  4. Has the coolant weep gone now the cars seen a few heat cycles?
  5. Driven it yet? I liked mine tbf. Drove nice. Shit gear change mind.
  6. I had a beautiful 85 gte in white for 1500 quid (early 2000s) when they were worth fuck all. Adored it. The earlier chrome bumpered manta Bs are so much more elegant though
  7. Perfection. Job done https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/186403995210?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=A5Wve9ywT8e&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=svwv9r4orxa&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  8. Brilliant cars. I shared a 60s with our kid for a bit. Ruined it mind with alloys off a bravo and a powerflow exhaust but it still drove beautifully. Just ate bottom arms. Uncle made a fortune buying hgf fire engined puntos doing the necessary and selling them on. Just good cars, Fiat doing what they do best. Small cars that don't feel small with real zest to them. Stunning example as well. Kudos 👏
  9. Any signs for the Crafter? Or is that a bad idea on the basis of advertising what might be in it if you break in (tools and stuff)?
  10. Excellent news on the cub. Hope the mini comes out solid but still scruffy. Old cars always look their best a bit careworn!
  11. Still can't get head around you and ste turning out such beautifully presented cars then crashing them! Good job we're all differant 😁
  12. You've found a smoking gun there surely. Wrong head gasket. It'll be reet now.
  13. Hell fire, you're pulling them all out the bag this weekend 😍
  14. now I do like that. Fantastic colour as well!
  15. I always go to my local dealer (bowkers) for anything non mechanical. Been doing it for 3 old BMs now. Everything is available next day and prices are surprisingly fair. BMWs parts back for their old models is superb in my experience.
  16. In fairness that's how it is. A lad I know a bit recently got quoted 500 quid approx to do some work on his rs6 by an audi dealership. He bought the parts at £ 259 and did the work himself and was scathing about what Audi wanted. The extra 250 quid has to pay for the building, the wages, the utilities etc etc. Sometimes I think people think other folk should work for nowt.
  17. That dash is an absolute jewel though. Back when BM knew how to do an interior.
  18. As I occupy this area of work but have never had the balls to do what you have done, I wish you all the success that you deserve. Top man.
  19. Behave. Family have history with these and I'm watching this. Tell him to buy a range rover with rod knock or summat 😄
  20. True. Cheap fun that. I used my dad's z3 last weekend and aside from the scuttle shake had forgotten just how nice it drives. 2.2 go alright then?
  21. Obvs I'm a coupe man myself, but z4s have aged really well! Hope you like 👍
