This was just in the motion potion station near Chipping Campden. I particularly enjoyed the Euro 6 badge glued to the door above the door handle

Been a while so thought I'd update this. The clk has been happily sharing duties with the Xantia. I've done a few little bits and pieces (audio and a bit of body work) to it but I'm mainly looking out for a new drivers wing and boot lid for it to tidy it up. It's providing entertaining if thirsty transport and has made me realise how happy a convertible makes me.
The kids love it and I enjoy driving it.
    Jobs to do
Replace front wing and boot lid
Find where the front suspension clonk is coming from as it's definitely got more noticeable over the last couple of weeks, it's not as noisy as the wheel bearing has suddenly got on the Xantia though!
Its fairly likely that a 7 or 8 seater will be replacing the Xantia and some sort of EV will replace the clk at some point, but for now I'm content to pootle around in them both. When the time comes there will be another roffle

Boring Citroen fan alert, but my favourite feature has always been the self levelling of the ride height and automatic boosting of the rear brakes on LHM only Citroens. Mine is always full of PA and instruments or wood for burning. I never get bored of feeling it rise before a journey.
Also auto wipers. I didn't realise how much I miss them in CLK. The Xantias just get on with it and seem to wipe whenever I would myself. The CLK has a single wiper, which never fails to make me smile because saddo.

We’re both home safe. Madam is taking her mum out for a quick spin. The car itself is a nice little thing. Typically Japanese/Malaysian/Korean handling - that is a little stodgy but it won’t bite you if you push it too hard. It’s a very easy little thing to drive. Madam didn’t put the wipers on once on the journey home (indicators right)
@BeEP thank you very much for the car, as always great to meet another shiter.
I’m now enjoying* a tepid cider before I have a shower and head off to bed.

Shut your eyes and ill bet it still smells like coming home from the pub in 1988.
600 large for a base model repmobile, with a Transit bottom end,  fancy cylinder head and a turbo, a spoiler,  some big alloys and a nerdy previous owner..
These are still worth south of 10 grand in my eyes.
    Blue collar hero my arse.

On my way to collect a customers car this morning I espied these two beauties in Finchley. Not sure if they've featured here before, but if not, they ought to! The Citroën DS21 is a left-hooker, with a registration number that's a laugh... and yellow headlights to boot! The VW is 100% genuine, with no "improvements" whatsoever-brilliant! Both cars giving a "middle finger" to the U.L.E.Z.!

This ^. I mean who amasses the a band of 6 to go and look at a car, at the most it’s a bloke/woman and the wife/dad/son etc.
The other rule is never bend over backwards and discuss a time outside when you’d be in anyway.
Funnily enough this can work in your advantage, the times I’ve gone to view a car and they’ve been that grateful that someone normal, polite and punctual has turned up, hasn’t done cunty things like ‘best price’ or asked ridiculous questions like ‘is the mileage genuine?’ And, get this, had the money in hand to proceed and an assurance they’ll never hear from me again once the cars gone. You’d be amazed how far this gets you.

They should make all new cars use points ignition and need regular greasing of suspension and steering parts. That way they wouldn't work without some attention every week. The general public would have no excuse not to notice bald tyres then. It would keep the unmaintained cars off the road 😂😂

Thanks for all your kind comments! Apologies for the quality of a few of them. I have plenty more to upload, and being an ex-Citroen employee, have hundreds of Citroen brochures and publicity leaflets for every model. The weirdest thing about getting together this collection is that I am seeing some of the brochures my parents brought home 30, 40 and even 50 years ago. It sometimes brings a lump to my throat.

Much thanks to @gm I have managed to get the right cable into the CLK so I can have my banging choonz. It was the funny shaped connector.

    Added to one of these

And away we went. I then gave the Merc a celebratory wash and will get some leather cleaner on my next journey out. Any particular brand of leather feed recommended on here? I've never had leather anything (I prefer pvc...😂😂) so all new to me.
