Thinking of selling my 205, its a bit of project but they are only going up in value so this could be a great INVESMUNT OPPERTUNNITY for someone. I am based in Lincolnshire though so there is an element of danger involved if viewing/collecting.
 
Its a 1990 XE model, which is just about as base model as they get. Originally a 1.0, but I've swapped in a 1.4 engine (regular TU3) and 5-speed box. No XUD content here chaps.
 
MoT'd til June and taxed to get you home.
 
Its pretty tidy, a few small dings and scratches here and there but polishes up ok. Interior is slightly mis-match as the previous owner had put GTi bits in, but I've replaced the seats with some decent GL seats which are mega comfy. Rust-wise it has a small hole in the N/S/F inner wing which may affect the next Mot depending on how picky your Mot guy is, and a rust patch under the rear seat.
 
I've replaced pretty much everything on this car over the last 5 years, engine/gearbox/exhaust/front suspension/rear brakes & lines. The front suspension is Monroe GTi shocks with -40mm springs and the rear has been lowered 40mm. I did this 3 years ago and there doesnt look to be any camber on the rear beam.
 
It starts easily with a bit of choke and drives and stops ok. I serviced it about 500 miles ago and fitted a cambelt and clutch when I swapped the engine in 3 years ago. Unfortunately the engine has a vibration/rumble at certain revs. I'm not sure what this is, i think this may be wear in the bottom end, hopefully its something less serious but dont bank on it.

engine done 82000 with old mot's to prove van has done 186000 engine changed because of a little smoke on start up so was not happy with that, van as it stands owes me 2.5k in parts and a bit of time

Been tasked to sell father in laws Lexus. He's owned for about 3 years and it's been a proper lovely car. He's upgraded to the new shape one because he loves them so much. It's currently having private plate removed and will go back to its 02 plate

Aircon/climate which is ice cold.
Electric sunroof.
Cruise control.
Cream/mushroom leather which is really nice.
Lexus over mats
Lexus factory sat nav.........
Electric and heated seats, both work all ways.
12 months MOT, well passed about 2 weeks ago.
All 4 tyres matching and only done about 2k if that.
Front discs and pads same time as tyres.
Very expensive lexus back box for last year's MOT.
New battery 8 weeks ago (Not cheap lol).
Good on juice for size of car.
Quiet and smooth, no knocks at all.
Auto gearbox is perfect.
The body is really really straight, only a couple of tiny marks which need pointing out to see.
 
Now the rub, every 2 or 3 weeks it puts on engine management light. My tame mechanic had it for a couple days and traced it down to cat number 1. He says basically because father in law don't get engine warm it throws light on, he only knocks around locally. It's emissions are fine for MOT and when it does get a run out the light can stay off for over a month after. He says he can change cat but its just not worth it. Father in law just completed a trip up to Scotland and car was perfect (light off at the moment!). It runs perfectly with either light on or off. He also said cat cleaner might sort it but I ain't put any in as of yet. When engine light comes on VSC light also comes on, mechanic says it's meant to and only one fault code is stored which I'll ask him and find out which one, I can't remember lol.
 
It's a lexus so everything works lol.

We have people going to Shitefest (Aberdeenshire) from all over the country hence why we could arrange relay delivery via a few folk. I know for a fact there will be folk from Malham and Cannock going. You could arrange to meet the folk heading home at somewhere like Lymm Services.

As mentioned elsewhere on this site I have an impending move coming so my somewhat superfluous compressor is becoming even more so. Especially seeing as I don't think the residents where I'm moving to would appreciate me running an extension out a second floor flat window to run a compressor in the car park.

It's an SiP brand, 2.5hp 50L machine. Last of the smaller oil lubricated ones I believe before they moved to oilless (worse). About 8 years old bought from Halfrauds. Maybe seen the equivalent of a week's workshop environment use.

Also included:
A decent length of air line. 15m rings a bell. Maybe 10m.
1/2" square drive impact gun rated at 250nm if I remember correctly.
1/2" square drive power ratchet.
Air drill. Keyed chuck - I'll dig out the key for it.
Tyre inflator with a fucked gauge.

All tools except the tyre inflator have seen less than 2 hours use and have been oiled.

All items will be tested before final sale.

Looking for £175 for the lot (negotiable). Pickup preferred (near Glasgow - actual location can be altered by pre arrangement) or I can bring with to Shitefest and do a typical Autoshite A.R.S.E national relay delivery service subject to willing participants.

Hi all not long joined, name is Terry got two Vauxhall Omega's 3.2 elite estates and an old mk5 smiley transit camper van in the process of welding and then respray, had lost of old shite and still buying it as well.
work in a garage as an mot tester and mechanic jack of all trades do plenty of restoration  work and welding will take some pic's and post later

comfy sports-ish bikes..........But I have a V twin awaiting a rear tyre and sunnier weather

got the same problem distance otherwise would have it may have to see about a courier

Worth getting a quote on Shiply for the faraway crew, last couple of bikes I looked at or bid on in the south east I was quoted a bit over £100 to bring to me in Yorkshire, that's not much more than it would cost me in diesel to go there and back.

This is on behalf of a good friend, selling his dads Alto which is prime autoshite material. No roffles im affraid

Selling due to delivery of evil fuelled french surrender machine, so the baby Rolls Royce is for sale. Needs a loving autoshite home to go to. Runs and drives perfect, good nippy little machine. Other than new rear brake shoes and cylinders it hasnt had any other repairs in his ownership. A testiment to its reliability, probably.
