The one that came with the CX has a card which has the words "corrosion guarantee" on it. On asking an acquaintance about this (he used to drive GS/GSAs) he said that what it actually meant was that corrosion was guaranteed.

That is probably the best-known street south of the river in Citroën circles. I'm guessing the owner's not particularly worried about ULEZ or the choice* of future Mayor....

Not going to get that in short distance / stop-start runs; even a TDi 100 might struggle to eke out the mpg on a delivery routine. 50 yes if you make use of all the momentum and coast at every opportunity, 60 no.
It's only the long runs where it's easy to exceed 60mpg. I used to be able to squeeze my TDi 100 past the 80mpg mark before the remap.  Post-remap, it's more like 70mpg for London - Carmarthen trips.

Yes, the CX's replacement water pump (Borg & Beck) came from these fellas. Surprisingly not expensive at about 60 quid compared to the 90-plus other sellers were asking for the same thing.

I think the top pic is West Ealing,  due to the glimpse of Woolworths. Both it and Sainsbury's are long gone from here. Woolworths premises is being redeveloped as shared-ownership flats.
This one's long gone as well. The only Sainsbury's presence in Ealing today is a Local around the corner from Ealing Broadway station.
