I got reamed out for 600 notes to have the 240 rear upper tie bar bushes replaced at a Volvo stealer many years ago , it was the first and last time , even the rad was over quoted when a 35 note rebuild could be fitted at the time , both dealers are shut now .....

thats a nice bargain car , as you say , just run it as it is ..

just reading up on LED bulbs , thought I would try some again to replace the T10s on the car ...and so ordered some more so we get this LED using some 160 -200 mA of power , much less than a proper 5w bulb taking some 500mA.... but because canbus cant measure some 50 ohms across what is now a diode ... so we fit resisters which will draw some 280mA of power .... so the canbus dont error to replace a bulb that drew some 500mA ... so thats 5 watts of heat to dissipate on this little led bulb thingy to help it fail .... the canbus resistors will be getting the snip !!

a couple of hours on the car saw the most worn tyres on the front to finish wearing them out over the summer , 2 good ones on the back , and a fairly decent spare in the boot , and the 12 year old spare sat in the garage ready for a new tyre on its rim .. hopefully a swap around before the winter will see a set of decent tyres on the car

I think they should be traced , lined up against a wall and a large tower pc inserted sideways ...

Wake up for someone today , in the car parts place getting my back box , garage guy next to me was trying to get parts for a car service but the vin and plate did not match the car on his system ... It was a petrol as well going by the shop system .. RINGER ? went the cry ..

To pay for my over 60 travel concession ? 👍😜 That's when the trains work ....

Monday is a bank hol , the roads will be packed ..... car is on drive , back box is in the garage .....

todays kick in the slats , just had a chance to check the exhaust onthe C1 and its snapped off at the rear box .. its my fault .. cant get a new one till Tuesday ... anyway the old rear box came off ok and just a new clamp needed for the joint ..

he has gone off having on line ownership of games and likes to have the disc in his hand . he is starting to see the console market as bit of a cash cow .

son is a bit pissed over his PS4 , he saved up for a console , with a bit more help we got one , we set it all up , had fun doing the accounts etc , but it worked well ... then he wanted multiplayer ..... err no , age restricted , ok then use my account .. still no ... you need a package of so much a squid a month .. err what ??? we now understand why there are so many PS4s on the CEX shelves .. Now looking out for a 2nd controller for local play ..

The innards of the C1 back box have decomposed ... It's almost a straight pipe now ...... 👍👍👍👍 I can hear it with my aids off .

Just seen some 1 litre bottles of wine .. 13% as well ... Are they making longer straws to fit them ???
