Handbrake lever, it's a while ago, but I'm sure the levers have a rivet in that rusts up.
You have to take the linings off, remove the lever, hit it with a hammer on the rivet, spray with WD40, wiggle it for 10 minutes until its free and reassemble.
You can just spray and wiggle it in situe, but knowing you, you won't.

It only took two visits to the hospital to pick out all the bits of the 1mm slitting disc from my eyeball that shattered and peppered my face last month.
Got some safety glasses now.

So I've spent most of today at hospitals.
Started with Montagu walk in injured at Mexie. Whilst in the pub last night my eye started hurting. This am it wasn't better. Found out Specsavers do an eye clinic but tomorrow was first available time. Drove across the border to them. There's no A&E just walking wounded. Looked in eye (less than 30 mins from registering) with big magnifying glass and light. Needle scraped one bit off but not second bit of material.
Ended up at A &E at Barnsley. So doc gets me in front of a proper eye machine
What you been doing?, that looks like a piece of metal.
Grinding the stuck brake adjuster off my car yesterday.
Yep a piece has gone in your eye.
I was wearing glasses and such, I used to work in H&S I replied.
I'm not going to preach to you, I ended up in here in front of a colleague as I'm restoring an early series 3 V8 Landie and did the same.
Rest of time, whilst he tried needless to remove the last bit passed quickly as we discussed crap cars.

Fuel gauge, don't worry. Reset the trip meter when you fill her. Then work on about 260 miles. The gauge on the B reads what it feels like, which is a sightly better than the TF which reads empty with an almost full tank.
Oil, decent 20/50 is what you need, and as I keep saying, cover the oil pressure gauge with some tape to stop you looking at it!
As for getting to the festival, of course it'll get there. It's the getting back that you need to have your breakdown recovery card for.....

This sounds a bit like a competition I remember when living in kilt land back in the late 70's.
How many miles per gallon will a Marina coupe do on a run up some motorway north of Edinburgh. Think it managed over 40, at a steady 60, I was lucky in not guessing the correct amount as you won it.

Make sure you drive past parliament so there's a chance Sky / BBC / ITN get the oportunity to get it in the background when they are interviewing some MP.

Yodel delivered a parcel for Mrs BMH yesterday. Put it on the step by the front door, rang bell, jumped back in van and drove off. Fortunately we were in.
