Does anyone else find him unwatchable? It's LIKE he is trying TOO hard to sound INTERESTING and over emphasising WORDS so as NOT TO sound monosyllabic.
It's almost like he is trying to be the most Clarkson like youtuber.......
In the World!!

Timewaster got a reaction from Coprolalia in Tools you've found at the roadside...
As an apprentice in a Peugeot dealer, there were 3 mechanics, and none of them got on, two hated each other.
There had been a big row over a missing snap on screwdriver with one accusing the other of stealing it.
The manager had to step in, tool boxes got searched, nothing found. It was all pretty horrible.
Fast forward a few months, there was only me and the accused mechanic in the workshop, he brought a 205 in for a service.
Bonnet up and there, perched on the inner wing was a dusty long handled snap on screwdriver.
It was a good job I was there to witness it as he would never have been believed.
The next day came the most awkward and begrudged apology I ever saw.

Facebook market place.
Are there ANY genuine car ads on there?
There are loads of underpriced cars (sometimes vastly underpriced) and when you look at the sellers other items there is about 20 underpriced cars. All listed today.
I guess they are cloned accounts that get removed and are back again with the same pictures on another account the next day.
Pay a deposit to hold the "bargain" and the deposit, the car and the seller immediately vanish?
there is a TVR which triggers my watch list 3 times a week, always £4995, (arguably a third of its value) always a different part of the country, always the same photo.
I'm sharp enough to know it's a scam at that price for that car but some of the camper vans I wouldn't know the true value, or some of the commercials.
Bastards.

They all look like they are from different eras.
The girl next to the guy on the bike has an 80s look. The girl on the right looks more 40s.
The guy with the tash and Harry Hill collars 50s maybe?

Fast bikes magazine?
No doubt some jolly jape based on the VFRs old man image.
A bit like the Accord. Very competent, 100% reliable but a bit dull.
I have a VFR. I'm not bitter.
(I've also not ridden it for several years).

Timewaster reacted to SiC in Planned forum downtime - ALL DONE!
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand we're back!
Big lot of updates have been applied, so hopefully everything is still golden.
There is a bunch of post update tasks (database indexing) that the forum is running in the background, so things may run a tad slower for the next couple of hours.
I'll write up a thread in a bit on exactly what was done.
EDIT: The write up and technical discussion is here: https://autoshite.com/topic/55178-autoshite-server-infrastructure

Timewaster reacted to brownnova in Planned forum downtime - ALL DONE!
Due to essential background updates required to keep the site running smoothly and securely Autoshite will be down tomorrow (17th August) from 7PM for approximately 2 hours.
Hopefully no one has any exciting collection capers planned to reach their climax at that time…
Thanks for your understanding!
