  1. I used to have one of these. Was it the 115 diesel? It was chipped 130bhp. It used to surprise a few bois away from the lights! Very grin inducing. In fact I think I still have the chip box, a Tunit. Whoever wins If you want it I'll dig it out for some beer tokens.
  2. I think I would take a copy of the V5 and keep it for a month or two. Sent from my Wileyfox Swift using Tapatalk
  3. C5 2.0hdi? If you can stand the gremlins. Sent from my Wileyfox Swift using Tapatalk
  4. Ah ok, I knew it was bigger than the engine in mine. Also the triangular side panels to the rear of the door windows had a sort of corrugated finish to them. I didn't keep it long, it was painfully slow even by 1970's standards and traded in against a trendy Ford Anglia. Sent from my Wileyfox Swift using Tapatalk
  5. Ah, a Herald Coupé. My first ever car, mine was a 948cc twin carb "Clubman" model. Sebring Green over Arctic White or something like that. Apparently it was quite rare even then as most were 1250cc I think. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  6. On the Bx if the injectors are getting a signal the only thing left is they are gummed up. Everything else seems to be working. Sent from my Wileyfox Swift using Tapatalk
  7. Just a thought have you checked the in tank gauze filter on the fuel pickup? I've seen them covered in old fuel that's turned to jelly. Sent from my Wileyfox Swift using Tapatalk
  8. If it was running ok before its going to be something silly. Sent from my Wileyfox Swift using Tapatalk
  9. Fuel pressure at idle should be 2 bars or about 30 psi. According to Haynes bol. Sent from my Wileyfox Swift using Tapatalk
  10. Bx 16v if the pressure sensor is duff on the fuel rail it won't fire the injectors or if there isn't enough pressure there anyway. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  11. My big sister owns my old Roomster and my nephew had a bump in it. Wings bonnet bumper and bits. She bought another one that had a r/o/s hit and robbed it for parts. This is now sitting in the way. There is a good 1.4tdi engine and box, good interior trim and seats, wheels tyres etc. I think this is quite generic stuff through the Skoda range and possibly VW as well. Give me a shout if you need any parts. Sent from my Wileyfox Swift using Tapatalk
  12. Yes sounds like the switch. Maybe burnt contacts you might be able to try a clean with wet and dry. Sent from my Wileyfox Swift using Tapatalk
  13. Saab 94 turbo. Sent from my Wileyfox Swift using Tapatalk
  14. Ligier! Saw it in Majorca a couple of days ago. Also saw three really nice Reno 4's in two days. Sent from my Wileyfox Swift using Tapatalk
  15. Isle of Wite then. Sent from my Wileyfox Swift using Tapatalk
  16. It wasn't too bad after a software update. Sent from my Wileyfox Swift using Tapatalk
  17. I had a Kia Venga 1.4crdi for a year. £30 a year tax. It was ok-ish, nothing to write home about and now I've got a '98 Synergie 1.9 xud. This is fairly economic and a lot quieter and less hassle. Sent from my Wileyfox Swift using Tapatalk
  18. SF you need to get that injector done asap cos it will weld itself in. Sent from my Wileyfox Swift using Tapatalk
  19. I normally do a couple of days temp insurance to pick a car up. A day to get there and bring it back and a day to have a run round. Usually about 40-60 quid. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  20. I might be interested if it's still available but going on hols for a week tomorrow. I'll look in and see if it's still there when we get back.
  21. Like WilsonWilson I can't login but I'm a fairly new member so don't know if that has anything to do with it.
  22. I had a Rover 800. Bodily slightly better than that one. Electrically probably worse.... Sent from my Wileyfox Swift using Tapatalk
  23. I always thought they had springs on them. I thought hydragas died on the Maxi. Sent from my Wileyfox Swift using Tapatalk
  24. I found different letters following dizzy part numbers usually mean different advance curves so if it pinks under load you might have to swap the Bob weights and springs. Sent from my Wileyfox Swift using Tapatalk
  25. I owned one of those, a 115. I loved it but the clutch was pants which seems to be the norm on a lot of modern (ish) Fiats. I put a Tunit box on it which surprised quite a lot of people, once you zooomed past them they disappeared in a cloud of black smoke! Sent from my Wileyfox Swift using Tapatalk
