  1. I loike this very much. Yes. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Fiesta-rs1800/182707441676?_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D20140122125356%26meid%3Df82fff965da74d1885e63b05ad7dc9b6%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D6%26rkt%3D6%26mehot%3Dpp%26sd%3D253090255257&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851
  2. Fnnghhh....love this Judging by the MOT history, was kept off road for at least a decade. Some welding has occurred too. I'm going to test the waters with a PX offer...
  3. no reserve auction...father and daughter owned since new. mmmmmm reliable japanese goodness http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/toyota-carina-ii-XL-4-Door-saloon-/232439283003?hash=item361e75fd3b:g:ARwAAOSwTLxZiLhl
  4. I'll have another look tomorrow and match it all up. I'm certain it was all done as per the harness.
  5. Yesterday when I fitted the new washer pump for the rear wash wipe, I kept testing it by forcing it to work on the rear. Rear wiper was moving happily for ages. Weirdly, a few minutes later I tried just the wiper on it's own, refused to move. Washer pump activates when I try the rear wash, but wiper doesn't. Is it going to be a fuse?
  6. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Citroen-ZX-1-9D-Pzazz-Ltd-Edn-36500-Miles-YES-36500-MILES-Only-/332325665205?hash=item4d602739b5:g:NGIAAOSwzXBZfjMz Too much Pzazz in the price.......
  7. Oh and I got 2 parcels a few days ago from fellow shiters, thank you!. Will be sticking the replacement drivers door trim on when it's dry, I've got some Tigerseal ready. I pulled out the stereo that was in the Rover, only to find it's been wired directly to it, no clue how to put the original one back in so I gave up. Boo I bought a cheap headunit locally and failed miserably in trying to wire in a universal iso lead. Took me an hour as well crimping and connecting only for it not to turn on. Looked easy enough, just connect the same coloured wires up (clearly not for me). That's about the best I can do, will just visit a local audio shop and get them to do it. Further update, one of the rear speakers is blown. I'll probably just take the front door cards off and replace them with new average quality halfords specials, at least it'll make the longer journeys bearable with ACTUAL bass rather than paper rustling.I'll have a go looking at the rears on my rest days too, gives me something to look forward to. Oh and I have discovered the NSF CV boot is split. BASTAR. Nay worries, I'll get that done shortly too. I'm planning on getting a new rad for it, as although it works fine, it runs a little cool, and there are some fins missing on the inner bottom half of the rad and seeing as it's around 40-50 new, I'll get one in the next few weeks and fit with a new thermostat. Slow progress, but, hopefully I'll get it to where I want it to be in the next couple of months.
  8. Not much by way of progress at the minute due to work being extremely busy and rainy weather. Rear wash pump replaced (new old stock) and it works but there's a blockage so will have to inspect the in line valves. Curiously, the rear wiper has stopped working completely. Anyone know what the cause may be? It worked fine when I was testing the rear wash wipe, but now doesn't move.
  9. Bah. Ah well, it wasn't meant to be. Really hope it's gone to a good home
  10. Yeah. Nah. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-Pulsar-Gtir-Rolling-Shell-and-spares/162610777748?_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D20140122125356%26meid%3D65266ce010d94656a6e4594b55cfd09e%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D6%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D222601041041&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851
  11. Cheers, never even knew they existed. I'll have to call tomorrow as they're closed, although seller said someone may potentially be taking it tonight. If not, I'll call them first thing and see what the deal is.
  12. Yup. Gutted, but, I still have my rover.
  13. Just tried Flux, can't quote me. Doing a quick generic comparison quote and it's 700 cheapest. Fuck you.
  14. Just tried Lancaster. They want 800.fuck right off
  15. Hang fire will try another classic insurer. I STILL WILL ENDEAVOUR
  16. Well that's just shit. FJ refused to insure this. They said Honda under 30 years is a no quote or something and they will not insure it despite it being the same bloody car. Gutted. I'll console myself with my R8
  17. Only 3 pictures, appears giffer owned. PREMIUM BLUEBIRD M8 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-bluebird-/292206248361?hash=item4408d981a9:g:uoMAAOSwOqRZh1iv
  18. https://www.theaa.com/car-buying/running-in-a-new-car - Some helpful parameters there from AA As for a sign, I'm fairly certain ebay has some running in stickers to warn others what you're doing.
  19. Barn find etc etc http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Corolla-1-3-GL-Barn-Find-0riginal-62-251-Miles-History-/132176368436?hash=item1ec6535334:g:uC0AAOSwX61ZBw7P
  20. If all goes to plan, rover will be u for sale. Mrs Sims is erm...mildly annoyed..
  21. Against my better judgement, I've decided I want this. Like I've said before, it's a Concerto I've always wanted and I've been trying to ignore this for the last 2 days, and today I've relented. I most likely will be picking this up next week barring any disagreement with Footman James on Monday.. I think I have a problem.
  22. Yeah, it's my postcode more than anything that hinders me. Really infuriates me when they quote me over £600 for what in essence will be a second runabout. I have plenty of NCB which seemingly is pointless to them.
  23. I would, but the insurance on these are an actual joke.
  24. LAWD A MERCY do I love these Accord's. Solid, dependable, and weirdly, luxurious. Should shift in no time, and I've driven these before and found the clutch to be strangely high.
