  1. May I have the daily mail motor review and motor tr be road Tests, and the motor museum book please?
  2. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Camry-7-seat-Estate/152807890264?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649
  3. OUT: '03 Volvo S60 '02 Audi A3 TDi '04 VW Bora TDi '93 Rover 216GSi IN '04 BMW 120i Sport.. Although tbh, it's going to change. I feel stupid driving a BMW.
  4. Grr. Genuinely want this but, I would need to shift my 1 series first.. Ugh. Y U NO SELL BEFOAR
  5. https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=k11+micra+expansion+tank&rt=nc&LH_PrefLoc=1 Not sure which one yours is, as there appear to be 2 types. Hope that helps chap.
  6. God I loves me some dealer plates
  7. Well the car is now sold. A chance encounter at a petrol station on my way to work, and a young lad in an RS6 estate waxed lyrical. Just took it away! Woohoo. No messing just straight deal.
  8. Cheers Sterling but it's not so much the storage now. We are most likely going to move in the near future, and the impending arrival of a thirsty (gulp) new steed means I have to put my attention onto one vehicle only, otherwise I will be in financial ruin. Happy to roffle this shortly if enough interest
  9. Still here folks. Will take £200. I need the space. Impending new arrival is stressing me out. If not, roffle it is.
  10. Have an interested party. If that fails, I'll attempt a roffle. Just want it to go to someone on here to cherish.
  11. Bora is no longer fucked, but, seeing as I hate it as much as I hate watercress, the Rover will now not be used. Has just under quarter tank of fuel blah blah. May roffle it. £240 chaps, with spares, plenty of MOT and proven to be a reliable thing. COME ON DOWN
  12. No still selling as Mrs Sims has her car too which I sometimes borrow for short journeys. I've had the fun with it now. I'd rather focus my energies on one car and make it as good as I possibly can. My budget cannot stretch to two I'm afraid. Big, luxo barge. Big engine...
  13. Fucking off considered...and done. Father Sims has stated he will pay me what I paid for it a few months ago, which in turn means I've gone off diesel. Every issue I've ever had, has been in an old diesel car. Not worth my while. I do circa 8-10k a year. I've decided to treat myself. Will hopefully collect it soon, just need to sort logistics with this.
  14. Both wishbones, balljoints, droplinks changed on Bora. Develops a more pronounced clonking noise from driver side, which in truth was sort of there prior, but has become far more prevalent now. However there was a scraping noise too, which mechanic said "floating discs, change them". I do as I'm told and buy new ones, fit them today. Scraping noise still there, turns out the plate was rubbing on it. For fuck sake. £40 I could have saved and 2 hours. Plus I've sheared a wheel bolt on the hub, and the clonking noise now most likely is a strut top mount bearing as it can sound so horrendous. I've spent best part of £300 this month purely on suspension alone. I am sick to death of shitty VAG rusty bolts and nuts. Seem to be a weak spot. Seriously considering once I've sorted it to fuck it off. I've lost heart in it now.
  15. Still very much here and for sale. I've been using it daily, as the Bora is still fucked. Fucking thing.
  16. Somebody buy this please. PLEASE It's lovely
  17. Yeah I probably could, but, Id rather sell it cheap to a fellow shiter to continue its existence in this community.
  18. Yes it most certainly does!
  19. Forgot to say, MOT till Jan 2018 and had no advisories! I will keep it taxed/insured to get you home as well. In fact, if you want, you can have the trailer I purchased for free too! FREE TRAILAA M9
  20. This is now for sale chaps. Personal reasons, (house move, money etc etc). This has been a lovely thing for me to own, and I have genuinely enjoyed it but I must move it on to someone else for them to enjoy. Sterling engine, strong as anything and I have enjoyed using it frequently. Holds temperature and NEVER ever creeps. Pictures still as per original post. In my ownership I've serviced it fully with new filters/plus/oil, plus had a newer headunit fitted in with aux. Also, new front wipers, and new rear washer pump Comes with spares :full cambelt kit, 2 new rear brake cylinders and shoes, thermostat. I'd like £240 please. Still making a loss re what I spent, but, I want this to go to a good home. Negatives - genuinely hadn't gotten around to applying for the V5 since I had it off Taxi Paul. I managed to tax it since and just haven't found time to do it. Headlining saggy at the rear, and will need CV boot doing on NSF. But, generally, solid, and under chassis is great. Sills need a rub down and respray with stone chip at some point but are solid. Really has been loved. 2 keys too. I'm in Birmingham
  21. Ah that would be grand. That fabric looks gorgeous. Need to decide what I'm going to do first though. There is a list, just finding time etc. Potentially may even be moving to a different place, which means I will have to sell the Rover as it has only 1 space with no garage. It's on the horizon, although I shall be using it more often as the Bora is still off the road until the middle of next week.
  22. Yes http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Celica-2-0-ST-RA40-18R-5-speed-1-owner-since-new-MOT-APRIL-2018/332343699936?_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D45993%26meid%3D5532a67367dc46438f9cb73e73bbf414%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D4%26rkt%3D6%26mehot%3Dpp%26sd%3D332359574009&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851
  23. I recently used it on the Bora, weirdly the A pillar lining had come undone due to heat. Didn't seem to bleed tbh, looked ok. If it bleeds, I'll just tear it off and start again. I read that as "Cock Flap" initially ha! I was planning on doing it, I found a thread with someone who had but it seemed a lot of effort. I'm not even sure what cloth to replace it with. I'll have another look around inside. I was after a belt buckle for the front passenger side, as the plastic casing broke around it. The spring fell out too but it still works, if you have that, I'd be grateful.
  24. Small update (cobody nares) Been using this regularly as the Bora has been laid up due to mobile mech struggling with seized wishbone bolts etc. Added almost 200 miles, mainly in hot weather, stationary etc and my god, it never overheats whatsoever. Holds temperature like a king. Cleaned up the engine bay after oilgate, and it purrs as per. I have seen a couple immaculate ones on ebay, but, the are all around £600 plus mark and honestly, mine isn't that far off tbh. Sorted the stereo btw, took it to an audio specialist who fixed it. Magically, the rear wiper began to work as did rear demist. He said I had damaged some sort of wire which he fixed, so the 2 were clearly related. I HAVE REAR WASH WIPE NOW M9. Due to the Bora costing me a little more than I anticipated, I've decided I'm going to limit myself to 1 job a month on the Rover, ie if I cannot do it myself then I shall pay someone. I'll sort the headlining out at some point this month, I have a crude plan to spray loads of spray glue through the end and then push it on, which, in theory, will work. May even attempt a gearbox oil change. The CV Boot is fine for now, seeing as I don't do many miles. Plans for next month is fresh coolant, new rad and thermostat. Despite it holding perfectly, I'd rather have it running just so in my mind. THE CLOCK is pissing me off. The cover for the HR/MIN is missing, and that irks me.
