This happened.
Which means the 'other' foreign key, is on my keyring with the main key acting as Keyfob and works excellently.
Thatll do for me.

It says key adjustment though so I think you're in the right place.
I think you just need to go:
New value 1 > test > press button on key 1 > save
New value 2 > test> press button on key 2 > save
At the top where it says Key Adjustment you should get Key Recognised or something like that when you press the button on the key.
Yeah tried that, Test does nothing at all.
SOmeone mentioned iMay need to find the security code to login to the module.

Quick Update.
Glove Box Handle fitted. 5 minute job - once I had found the handle on ebay that was not £90.
Dash cam is now fitted (Piggy backing off of Wipers Fuse)
VCDS - Hex-2 lead has arrived - had a quick play around with trying to to the adaption for programming remote key fobs but Alas, did not get very far. Why my VCDS looks differnet when I go into the adaption part I am not sure - suspect CCM might be at fault.
My drop down at the top doesnt work, (No Documentation Availble) supposed to be able to drop that down and hit Remote Keyfob Programming.
Investigations continue.

I have acquired a new car at the weekend. A 2005 Audi A4 2.0 TDI. Remapped - very quick and quite loud (Sports exhaust - possibly a Tony Banks in Leeds Exhaust will have to check).
Drives absolutely cock on.
Gave it that name because it reminds me of the Mustang in Gone in 60 Seconds (Colour).
Has 145'ish K Miles in reality, but clocks say 175k as there was a replacement engine fitted, before engine went in Belts and clutch where doen as well as Turbo.
Its not perfect, there are a few jobs that need donig - first and foremost it needs tunes. Audi Concert keeps locking up (TADTS) and only way to shut it up is to remove negative battery lead.
Keyfob needs a reprogram, going to need VCDS for that (Might have to borrow an cable for it) - if you change the battery in the key, it then needs resyncing to the car. Ive tried the methods online to no avail.
Body work is tidy enough - it still has arches!
Thats it so far. Will updat on progress as things move along...

Anyway all you need is old Vauxhall deadlocks to defeat local scraots around these parts - hence thwarted theft of Cavalier polans when they couldnt unlock the doors lol.

In other news, driving around radio-less in the Mondeo has been no fun. The eject wouldn’t work and in an effort to retrieve Now 1985, I had to strip the casing down. I’d read sometimes the runners and pivots for the CD system can seize, from cursory inspection it looked as if the motor that operated the eject mechanism was fucked. Top and bottom it was new radio time, annoyingly most ebay examples were looking very tired, for some reason the silver fascia picks up marks really easily.
I did want a black front fascia, wasn’t fussed about the Sony system but it was only available on the Mk4.5 and has twin aerial nonsense so that was out, so I opted for a like for like replacement. In fairness it’s not a bad system. The ex- @cpjitservices had an aftermarket system in it, the kids loved it because it flashed an assortment of bright colours but I find most aftermarket units infuriating to use so that, regrettably, was out.
Anyway ebay yielded a £35 delivered job which if I’m honest cannot come too soon.
Had also been looking in complete vain for the canisters specific for an air line for waxoyl. For whatever reason couldn’t find any locally, however I had some left over Shutz, emptied that out and mixed up a Sierraman Special of 90% Waxoyl and some added white spirits! Ready for the winter!
Good radio that Sony, you can turn off the flashy-flashy lol could do with that for my Mondeo now as radio has packed up in that loll Typical Ford CD 6000 fashion.

My grandad had one similar way back when.. hold on..

Only tiome ive ever been recoverd is when the wifes Mondeo now in the hands of @sierraman, shat its Clutch salve cylinder naturally then lost clutch pedal. Key banging it and rev matching I managed to get it to S safe place for recovery.
Not much change out of 1100 quid for that clutch replacement.

Sailed past quite a few moderns 2012 upwards on the hard shoulder today, 200 mile round trip. Many old cars about including a Kreg XJS keeping up with the traffic.

Lack of use, for all the time I was using it it was very reliable. When I started a new job where I must have a company car and cannot opt out it didn’t like being stood, it kept going into limp mode, I changed injectors and it seemed ok for a short while but then went to limp mode again, it now will not come out of limp mode. I suspect a new fuel filter and cleaning the injectors could sort it but I think there is an issue with the loom also. Minor issues that could be sorted but I never have any time and have far more interesting cars to work on if I could find any time. I got £375 for it so it didn’t seem worth the time or hassle.
Ohhh thats a shame I would have had it off you
