I would urgently phone the AVA and inform them of those facts, ideally confirming in writing in case they do proceed.

Tell me to FRO if the question's impertinent, but was the injury sustained at work?  If so, has it been recorded/reported appropriately?

You're top of the list David, if they don't get bodged into the Galaxy.
There's a chance Mrs_KJ and I will take it car camping this year, FOD and/or Shitefest.

RIP, it's gone to heaven with Diana and all the angles. Let it be her Maj's and Sir Captain Tom's passion wagon now.

Yes indeed. Yesterday it definitely made the difficult decision for us. It's a sad end, but it has brought the world much joy. Eg:

I will reshare the pictures as I continue to find them.

I would rather have cars to go like this having both the bodies and the wheels fully driven off them. Their destiny has been fulfilled and as little waste as possible was involved.

Not sure how I drove this to Monaco and back, could hardly sleep with the nerves of driving it to the  MOT station today. That said as soon as I hit the road I felt ok, knew the car would be fine and really enjoyed driving it again for first time in about 8 months
Thanks to @Rust Collectorfor the tip on running a wire from the tailgate earth to a body earth, it's solved all the dashboard light gremlins
Car passed the MOT,  I think a couple of the crusty bits around the turrets might need attention before the next MOT but for now they are deemed acceptable

    Repeated my first ever drive!
50 years ago today I turned 17 and thus went for my first "Learner" drive, in this Riley 1.5, 8 miles to school.
Luckily for me Dad's commute was past the school gates. I drove that Riley all over the place during the next few months, which were it's last few months on the road as it was utterly rotten and by the end, just running on three. (It had seized while I was driving, damaging a piston and to stop the resultant massive oil consumption the pushrods of the seized cylinder were removed)

This is the only photo I can find of 644 JYC. I'd removed the front uprights, hubs and brakes for possible use on my Minor.

along with the good news on the Panda (see other post) the Favorit has also been woken from its post ULEZ slumber and moved onto the driveway for a pre MOT once over. Once the Estelle had donated its battery it fired up instantly. Poor thing is starting to look a bit worse for wear though

That's the reversing light switch. Connects to a simple pull switch which is on the bulkhead with one of the brake cylinder bolts. In reverse the gear selector is furthest away from that switch location and the cable pulls on the switch to make the contact. The power comes from the + side of the indicator relay.
I'll take a photo when I get home.

It's taken too long, cost too much, pissed me off on numerous occasions, failed on two stupid items, but finally this shitbox has passed it's test and is fully road legal for the first time since 2012.
