Yo, these weren't dealer specials but Winter Olympics 1992 specials produced by Solido (it says Albertville 1992 on the door).

I was in (nearby) Tignes while the Winter Olympics took place in Albertville - and they were in every bloody shop. Renault was the official manufacturer, supplying Espaces, Clios and Express vans in white Albertville '92 livery. These were a low effort merchandising shit-out for Solido, and probably did OK. I got the Clio and an unrelated piste-basher model (which I can't find).

    Here's mine 32 years later.

These are the boxes they would have come in; these now sit on my shelf in Peebo. I think I paid £15 for the lot.

I was in Albertville 2 weeks ago, it was raining, and mostly shut - I bought a Welly Renault 5 there though 😁

Still traces on the winter Olympics, quite a few petal statues in the surrounding aera too.
Top buying @FakeConcern some proper bargains! Transcontinental is a BEAUTY @Spottedlaurel

If I were to hazard a guess it may have been converted by Bunce for a New Zealand or Australian buyer - cars there have to be RHD regardless of their market origin to get plates.

After 3 years sat in the garage and only covering about 5 miles to the MOT station and back last year, my 75 has set sail, quite literally and has gone to some fanatical 75 collector in Belgium.     I now live in Gibraltar so getting the car over here was going to be costly and a bit of a faff to say the least.   It served me well for 8 years but deserved better in the end so some chap from Belgium contacted me and offered a healthy sum to acquire it.

Today I have to say goodbye to my Dad.
I already miss not being able to show him my latest car purchase.

We didn't order a car to transport us to the Crematorium as I felt the 75 was a perfectly fitting vehicle. It was also the last car he took a ride in.
I have made sure that April is a packed month with 2 holidays and a new car to be attending to.

He has a fucked L322 Range Rover worth about £1500 on a good day. Yeah, how about no and get the fuck out of my garage, blud?

I fucking hate L322s anyway; they're too fucking big and drive like wobbling fat cunts.

Needed to nip out and buy a tray of eggs, was going to take the Carina E but as it was a decent day I thought I should give this old thing a bit of an airing:

Just taxed it the other day, need to get my £nil's worth. Other than shunting it out and back into the garage it was its first drive of the year. Felt like the battery was starting to get a bit low when I turned it over without the choke (my usual habit if it's been sat for a while, to get some oil around), but once the choke was pulled out it started fine.
Drove the same as ever, after 15+ years (the longest I've owned any car, by some margin) I'm pretty well in tune with it. However it's probably time for a proper MoT and a bit of a service this year, just to make sure I'm not overlooking anything.
This will be the year it turns over 100k - I'm just over 500 miles short of it at the moment.

In extended fleet news, Miss SL's BF got new wheels for his MR2, they look much better than the old aftermarket alloys. It's been his daily driver since his LS400 ran out of MoT.
Interesting to think that these two were on sale within 10 years of each other - the Laurel just about staggered into the '80s, but it's much more a car of the 1970s (more like the '60s in some regards), and the MR2 was launched here in early 1990.
