Stolen off of the Facebook, bet this guy could buy a new Yaris by selling his plate to someone with a GR.

Apparently it's the diesel for the ultimate mismatch of mingebag car / $$$$ plate

my 11000th post! (well technically 11001th post, but its not my fault the forum software no longer displays your post count in whole numbers under the left side bar anymore LOL)
but you know what that means another post of a few interesting photos I have accumulated overtime
first up, this one, which in in itself is a nice shot, a fun contrast of colours of 3 wheelers, between the AC Model 70 and the Bond bug

but more interestingly, from a completely separate source IIRC, I found this photo

which looks to be almost the exact same lineup + an additional bond bug, I do wonder what was going on there! I Mean I almost wonder if the Model 70 is part of some sort of early 3 wheeler collection rather than a ministry issue to a disabled person? or maybe tis a disabled person who also has/had a collection of Bond bugs? either way quite curious!

moving onto to this one, which we have had before

but I recently found this one, which amused me for just how similar the setup is, (give or take some sideburns) despite being probably 10 years apart or so?

(and obviously Model 70 in the first picture and AC Acedes Mk14A in the 2nd picture)

speaking of Acedes, heres a Mk15 with Racing(?) stripes! and someones pushed the boat out and fitted retroreflective plates, looks weird LOL

(reminds me of the Northern General RMF's and the Retroreflective plates they gained relatively early on)

and finally these period pictures of 521TRT  a Harding Model IV (aka a Harding Consort in Electric form)

amazingly I do know that 521TRT does still survive somewhere! gotta wonder if the current owner is aware of these photos or not!

Mustang II update: since the removal of the CPT, the car has been moved to the other side of the road. So technically, it's not a "dumped car".

Well, now I have decided my Invacar Mk12e (Brian) has far too much power for me along with a far too high top speed. I have lately acquired a drop in performance from 50MPH to 30MPH with a displacement drop of 148CC from 197CC to 49CC.
The idea is to give me some freedom of the roads whilst at the shows I attend with friends after having been steersman on their steam contrivances. You see, I like a little freedom to pop to the shop and grab a Zider or three (maybe more?), but after 8 hours on the road with no means of return without putting somebody out my thoughts turn to an old Cyclemaster that I wish I had never parted with.
Anyhow, long story short, not a Cyclemaster but a more capable machine altogether found its way home with me. He (Eeyore) should hang nicely from the the trailer behind the steamer and allow me the freedom of the roads once we hit the showground and also be in keeping with the surroundings!

As you're all well aware we are experiencing regular outages on the site currently.
This stems from the initial outage we had last month, where the site became disconnected from the server due to a networking fault.  Since then despite taking a number of steps to rectify this on our side we still get the site disconnected from the network once a day.
Unfortunately we are not receiving the support we need from the external hosting company to rectify this, as the fault appears to lie on their side.  Essentially whilst we (well by we I mean Slartibartfast) can apply the jump leads each time to get us back up and online, they (the hosting company) are failing to fix the underlying fault or provide us with the tools/support to do so.
As an admin team we are trying to work out our options for the long term stability of the site. This is not totally straightforward given our varying working hours etc. but Slarti does jump straight to it every time we go down.  This morning we were made aware at 9.59 we were back online by 10.21.
    What can I do?
As people have been - if you spot it's down and you have a means of contacting any of the admin team via external methods let us know.  One of us can contact Slarti and he has been getting it back online in a few minutes. That way we hope disruption will be kept to a minimum.
I know a few people have offered practical help and experience, this is greatly appreciated.  I'll be asking how we can best use this.
I'm going to lock this thread simply so it is only used for latest updates, and these aren't lost in a deluge of posts and therefore any member can see it easily.

Finally, thank you all for your patience - this is a very frustrating spell for AS and I know it is extremely annoying!

Did a google for a random UK council website and took this from Selwyn Borough Council:
If your bin was not collected, a tag should have been attached to it explaining why.
The kerbside trucks collect thousands of bins each day but sometimes mistakes happen and the driver may have accidentally missed your bin.
Before reporting your missed bin, check below for some other possible reasons your bin may not have been collected:
The lid was not shut flat or the bins were overflowing.
The bin was contaminated (e.g. non recyclable items in the recycling bin or plastic in the organics bin) or contained liquid or hazardous waste. There is a sticker on the underside of your bin lid advising what can and can't go into your bin. If you do not have one of these stickers and would like one posted out to you please contact us.
The bins were not registered to your property.
The bin was put out on the wrong week for recycling.
The bin or bag was too heavy. Large rubbish bins, recycling bins and organic bins (240 litre) have a weight restriction of 60kg. Small rubbish bins (80 litre) have a weight restriction of 30kg. Council rubbish bags have a weight restriction of 12kg.
The bin or bag was not put out on time. Bins and bags need to be presented by 6.30am on the day of collection - we recommend putting your bins or bag out the night before.
The bin was not correctly presented at the kerbside. Please ensure that the bins are placed at least 50cm apart and away from obstructions such as trees and letterboxes. The Council logo on the front of the bin is to face the road.
If you have checked the above list and none of these apply, your bin may have been missed so please contact us. When you call please provide the serial number on the side of the bin.
    TL:DR and I don't blame you.
