Redemption today after rescuing and tow starting my master Luton like it wasn’t there today.

In the style of no photo spotted thread have an imaginary picture of my 2.5 master Luton who also decided its battery was dead today. 3 smashing cold hours later and Mrs b to the rescue in her Range Rover! Outstanding pull start. Hoping it’s just the battery. Will try a new one tomorrow

Created a pin out of a piece of copper brake pipe flattened at both ends to fit the wrong blade so Mrs B is mobile again. All back together.

Clips landed but whole scuttle trim had to come off. Wasn’t terrible just awkward. On the plus side Amazon sent the wrong wiper blades so off to halfrauds in the morning.

Range Rovers really are great. As per usual the wiper linkage has popped off in the centre. Broken blades check. Bent arm check Great Some of those repair clips were ordered last night from bezos along with a pair of new blades, so if that is it resolved then not a terribly expensive if not inconvenient thing. Of course I will be doing this in the dark. Total cost of pain to date. £134 Battery £110 Wiper blades £20 Linkage clips £4

FTP1 well that was fast. Suspect crap battery or leak on something. No booster pack foolishly left at home as only 1.5 hours away in Menai. Arse Ahh he’s a very nice man. Battery is 48% so replacement ordered. Excuse finger. £110 bargain for a quality item. Drama over.

For context I have also bought cool packs but for a fox, two sets as the quality ones that were ordered first didn’t cure it.

It’s an absolute chuff ache but if you have a tone tester you can figure it out with a bit less pain. Just pull the ecu as you’ll no doubt know. Also looking at the resistance as it’s running can help depending on how it switches. You need a cobblers.
