You learn something new every day. I never knew they existed in 2 door SRi flavour. Cheers diesel assist
-
I don't think I have ever seen a 2 door 1.8 SRi????...I thought they only came in 5 door hatchback or 4 door saloon flavour? At least in the UK anyway. But feel free to correct me if I am wrong however.
-
Nice one, thanks. My dad had a 1.6SR as a company car, he got it earlier than usual as we were going on holiday. Had he held out a few weeks it'd have been an 1800SRi instead!
That is what my dads one was, a 1.8 SRi. I also remember he had an old pale blue Diesel mk2 cavalier hatchback, but i am unsure what size engine was in it..1.6?

I happened to find this website by accident, after reminiscing about my Dad's old MK2 Cavalier SRi, which was a Y reg saloon, In red. I remember the Recaro seats (With the badge) Trimmed in that black tartan(ish) type material.
It was a good looking car & he had it for around 5-6 years,& apart from the usual service & wear & tear items, it never once let him down.
He then put it off the road with the intentions of restoring it.
However, as with all good intentions, he never got the time to sort it & eventually & sadly now with hindsight, he scrapped it (this was around 1994-1995)
Anyway, this may be of use or interest to some of you.
Apologies if this has been posted before.

I had that colour seats in my 75. I swapped them for leather ones. Kept getting black marks on them of the kids.
I have thought of that, however, once i get the alternator sorted (& get it m.o.t'd) it is not going to be used alot, Sundays, dry days only etc.
it is still going to be a garage queen.

CLK430? very nice! Looks to have twatted a kerb at some point with that low amg front bumper like my 320 has; mines currently held together with cable ties! Love the colour scheme on the 75.
Cheers for the comments. It is indeed a CLK 430 The front bumper has indeed twatted the kerb, it is actually split completely at the right hand side, it is just placed on in the pictures. Have you seen the price of the AMG front bumper for one of these????.... I think i will follow your lead & cable tie it together....Autoshite at its finest.

Here is some more of my vehicles. Pictures taken today
I have saved the best until last.....this is a thing of beauty in my opinion, however...I need to get the alternator sorted (battery light constantly on) but it's a bit of a pig of a job to do
She has covered a mere 153,000 odd miles, x2 owners from new, full service history, x2 working remote keys & benefits from being the 131 bhp cdti model.
This is a proper garage queen....I don't think the back seats have ever been used eithier....
Hope you enjoy these

Lol... it was a 'sold as seen' warranty. That looks like a kwality establishment that you purchased it from..did you perchance get a warranty?
It doesn't look like that now however..

A little bit of T-Cut will sort it out,,,,,,http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-528-AND-525-E-39-DRIFT-CAR-/222222088485?hash=item33bd77f925:g:7rMAAOSwZVlXtCqM

I miss my Mercedes CLK 320 Avantgarde, in the best colour ever for a W208 CLK Quartz blue.
GY51 DPK.....I really really should never have sold that one....
My old Audi A4 2.8 Quattro (P179 VGP) that was another.....what a car, passed everything except petrol stations...sold to someone who kept at me to sell it to him, eventually I gave in & sold him it.....only for him to crash it 3 weeks later wrote it off sadly.

Well...I was going to upload more pictures, but it keeps telling me that they are too big to upload? Help..

I have been a long time lurker on here, but only recently made a profile.
I thought that I would share some of my vehicles with you all. The pictures of them will be loaded up as & when I have the time to do so.
First up....my daily (2001 Golf 1.8T) & yes, it is a VW, But I am NOT a OMGMADVEEDUBBER fanatic.... these are from when I first got it....it had been off the road for a year & a bit, so excuse the mould on the interior...
The eagle eyed amongst you will notice that the front tyre is something an F1 driver would be proud of & also a tax disc holder in the window.. remember them? lol.
As can be seen, it needed a good clean up.

My Dad currently has a 2004, 04 plate Mondeo TDCi (115?) Estate, & it has covered 114 odd thousand miles.
It is a pretty handy sized estate car (big inside with the seats down), & does everything expected of it.
It has got the dreaded DMF Rattle when stationary (it's quite noticeable..lol)
However, it has Never FTP'd or shat itself & he has had it for about a year now.
Another thing to note, rear brake callipers on the mondeo estate are prone to seizing up at the handbrake cable mechanism & the Mondeo hatchback callipers DO NOT fit the estate
But aside from that, the car is very good on fuel, comfy at cruising on the motorway, & drives very nice for it's size.
They are also very cheap to buy now....bit like Rover 75's.

& another.........i think the word "shell" is missing from the description...

I think this person has been smoking a little bit too much......price wise.....& the exterior.......

Yesterday, whilst in Sunny Edinburgh with my good lady..I spotted this...what can only be described as a monstrosity.
Note..the 99p shop lettering of the authentic Alpina badge...the custom Louvre bonnet vents, & my personal favourite....the smooth doors....I could go on & on about the state of this...however..you can judge for yourselves.
I give you....the new streamlined BMW E34.....
