Cudoes for getting into it and having a bash though as it's not an easy task without a garage and plenty time so I appreciate just what you've done and time spent getting it there.

Grumpy with myself for venting yesterday.  I was having a bad day and am under a bit of stress at the moment so would like to apologise for losing my cool.  Usually I would be fine with everything that’s going on but the added pressure of having to submit a (very complex) set of exam essays which will totally determine whether I secure a job or not was just an extra layer I didn’t have capacity for.

One small criticism if I may, the little triangle above the rear door handles really ought to be black too. Was it black paint or a piece of trim originally?

I was going to suggest if it was an Austin flavoured Metro I'd have done Hot pink and Acid Yellow as an homage to that crazy 80's fashion

A little more flush with arch, but not as wide as the weller. 
Door strips may go back on although I may need to obtain replacement ones as the didn't come off very well. 
I was toying with a neon green strip in the inserts to contrast the car.

While a Metro painted pink isn't for me personally, I can still appreciate the effort that's gone into it. An in the photos the finish looks pretty decent, compared to the peeling dodgy old paint so hats off to you chap. At the end of the day, everyone is entitled to do as they wish with there own property.
I've seen people do far worse with other cars, at least he's making an effort to keep it on the road. So if you don't like pink cars or Metros or whatever then fine.. just scroll on an read someone else's post it's as simple as that.
Making disparaging remarks against people who like the pink paint, an being insulting about what the owners done with the car etc..  Theres a line between harmless fun an banter, and just being very insulting and personal. An it seems people don't understand the difference, or perhaps they don't care. Guess it's very easy to do behind a keyboard, wielding excalibur without a thought.  However if the shoe was on the other foot, an it was me saying personal or insulting things to you, your other half, your kids or relatives or even your friends about something they've done. How would you feel about those remarks, something tells me it wouldn't be just harmless fun, banter or the AS way would it.

Hunter was looked at by three mechanics.Andy paid one mechanic 100quid.He tried his best..but the profi decision was that it was far too gone.A truck driver got paid..and the parts will save others. Thanks to folk who offered help and advice..but their was no malice or rip offs intended. Andy thought it was great..but beyond help. However the whole experience has been quite unpleasant..my reaction didnt help..and on that ...its all over.
