    Get some of this. https://www.shopnshine.co.uk/valet-pro-enzyme-odour-eater-500ml?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIl_iyv_Dg1wIVApPtCh2scgbUEAQYASABEgI6-PD_BwE
Cleans and gets rid of the smell. We used it on carpets when the wee one was sick when a baby, which was a lot.

Took the Winner Wagon out for a blast this afternoon as it’s a glorious day, and the car gets grumpy after about a fortnight of being forgotten.

2nd turn of the key and we were off; me beaming from ear to ear as always.

Spotted another lowly Ford, lonely in a field.

Oh. Pop Plus? Bit too aspirational for me.

Eltisley is famous for just two things. James May crashed a hot air balloon here, and the cricket pavilion was in an episode of The Prisoner.

Seems like a good place to end the update. Next year it will get the other side looking lovely and a rear bumper.

I was going to DM you, Dave - but in the name of transparency I’ll put it here.

I’ve no beef with you. You’ve forgotten more than I’ve ever learned about cars, and I think your set up with cars and Home in France is cool AF. Genuinely, I think you’ve got it sorted.

You and the other DaveB47 apologisers did rile me. It should be abundantly clear by now that he was on the take and not really fit for purpose. I’d like to think those of us who wanted change have been vindicated now, but it still seems some saw no problem before.

Like JM, Skizzer and a few others, I felt throughly pissed at handing money over each month for it to make no difference at all.

    Anyway, what’s done is done.

If you’d like to send me your PayPal email, I’ll buy you a beer of your choice. I’m sorry if you took offence to anything posted in the past. Genuinely.

Anyway...... Today I was at the lock up. I was clearing out the garage that contains the Toedlo with the TR7 engine. All good so far. I was also clearing out the Rover 75 parts that filled the i10 to the gills. Still good.

The 340 was about to be viewed by a forum member who likes the idea of it.

    All going really rather well.

Now, the place where the lock up is located is a yard/carpark space which serves two blocks of non-highrise flats. There are very large communal bins, well four of them. They are rather full. Smelly too.

I realised that I could not find the keys to the i10. I looked and looked, so did my mate. Nothing. Zilch. It was getting darker and the clouds were getting thicker and darker too. Keys were nowhere to be found.

I realised that I may have inadvertently thrown the keys in the bin with my rubbish. Cue me searching through the bins, not happy and having to grit my teeth.

I thought.... one more quick look in the car before I start emptying the fucking huge bins.

Lo and behold. There were the keys.

I'd looked there and so had my mate. WTF?

I went and bought 20l of bleach to bathe in.

However, I saw a Citroen C5 operate it's suspension trickery. That made me happy

Number 30 - the other Rolls. A 1934 Rolls Royce 20/25 Sports Saloon with art deco bodywork. Bought with a genuine 11k miles from new, this car was laid up in a barn during the war, where it remained afterwards becoming a dog kennel! Dug out in 1986, it was restored (not the best) and returned to the road in 1991. It now has about 15k miles on it. I fitted a transit overdrive unit (rully reversible) meaning it will cruise happily at 65mph all day. It has done the Le Mans run once, and is the option to the P5B for the classic next year. It is superb fun flashing the huge P90 headlights to get the BMW to move out of the outside lane of the motorway at 70mph! Braking distances have to be remembered as it is on rod brakes!

Number 23 - If I could only have one car to do everything, this is the one I would keep. A 1978 Bentley T2 with Mulsanne Turbo running gear. Luxury, performance and a glorious exhaust note! If it wasn't for the ruinous spares and repair bills, this would be perfect. Has been to Le Mans and almost certainly will do so again.

Number 19 - this is a very early 1978 Saab 99 Turbo 3 door. One family owned before me and 41k miles. Needs recommisioning as it has been dry stored for nearly 30 years, I have not had the time in the 19 years I have owned it so it has been sold and will be going to its new owner in the next couple of months.

Number 20 - the pride of the fleet! A 1978 Continuation Shelby AC Cobra. A unique build, with a RAM chassis and AC Alluminium body, powered by a 550bhp 7 litre Chevrolet lump. I have a photograph of Carroll Shelby driving this car in the early 1990s. Currently needing a new throttle cable, but tucked away for the winter.

Hagerty sponsored the video, so effectively paid for the collection caper. Quite impressed that my random collection of rubbish videos has built up to sufficient levels to pull that off. Only took four years...
