A few of my lazy spottings. So lazy in fact that some of them were mine at the time. Is looking on your own drive too lazy even for this thread?

Not Shite at all this. '90 or '91 Alpina 850 V12.

This Camry is in daily use and is a minter. Driver happy to natter too. 1987. This isn't shite either.

    However, this Corsa IS Shite.

And this caught my eye after I started driving an old Skoda,

    There was this Volvo beast,

    And this Skoda,

And this bus, which made me giggle. I thought Keanu Reeves saved the bus, but my mistake.

And this fine bush belongs to my new next door neighbour, who has a Kitten out in the yard but I was too lazy to get out of my car. Must visit this boy once it stops raining. I think it's a hedge full of Reliants and 2CVs.

For good measure here are a couple of my own. The Fiesta is now banger racing. The Favorit is my precioussssssssss.......

Actually, you can have a better one of my £145 fiesta. Ragged it stupid for three months then sold for £30. Bargain. This picture really makes it look good, and you can't smell the interior in a picture.

More to come. I live out in proper banjo-strumming Irish countryside where everyone is related to everyone else. Everyone loves a bit of chod around here.

Hello! A boring wife and common sense have combined to make me realise we only need 2 cars. Her Suzuki makes sense for her short commute but I can't decide between this and our Zafira so putting both up for sale and seeing what happens! This is in really good condition and and comes in the desirable* B200E automatic spec. Ok it's not the fastest car but it actually drives well and bowls along nicely on the motorway. Will link the thread later but I did have a few problems when I first got this. The 'box has been replaced with a good used unit from the Volvo forum. The other problem with poor running turned out to be the hall sensor in the dizzy, but our own Scaryoldcortina Andy worked his magic on this and replaced part of the exhaust, and the car has been great since. I'm using it every day just now and it doesn't miss a beat. Trying to think what else... MOT'd to October, It has the kids seats in the boot to make it a 7 seater, the fuel gauge is a bit erratic, but the main selling point is the bodywork, barring a couple of small scabs it really is excellent. Any questions please ask! http://uploads.tapatalk-can.com/

It's been sitting for a while but I think it's in decent shape. My brother in law (who's in his early 20's) was amazed an "old" car was so well equipped i.e had electric windows..

Hello, people who enjoy reading and writing about bad cars on the internet.  I have this bad car - It's most basic rear engined 1980's Skoda they made, the mighty* 105s.

"Only got a heated rear screen to keep your hands warm when you push it mate, LOL"' - nope. This is not one of those fancy 80's Skodas, no heated rear screen.  No radio. Only one wing mirror from the factory.  40hp, four forward gears. 0-60 eventually.

They knew about how to design a user friendly car back in the day.  Choke located on the floor where it can fall no further.  To get to the engine you have to open the rear passenger door and pull the boot release (which is hidden inside the closed rear door, a most convenient location).  You will do this often, for after the car has been sat a while you'll find yourself having to open two doors and the boot, then lean right down inside to the bottom of the engine bay to manually pump fuel into the carb before you've got chance of starting it.

I've not had a car this cheap in ten years and even they had no mot and were looking very ropey. I picked this up yesterday from a deceased ladies family. I have had a good poke and prod underneath and I'm pretty certain the mot tester was trying to pull a swift one. I have bought a new centre pipe and front spring up today for 35 quid all in. As it stands the total so far including recovery costs to my home and purchase of car and parts is £80. Hopefully chuck it in for test this week. No oil leaks on it,new oil filter and clean oil says it was serviced not long before it went in the garage. Also one of the rear shockers looks new. Next installment is spring change.

Hello everyone. Found my way here from Skoda Owners Club.

Have always driven shite and loved almost every rain-sodden-hard-shoulder-minute of it.

Cars since my first in 2001 (including what killed them):

1990 Vauxhall Nova Trip 4 speed 997cc which was tragically destroyed in a hit-and-run while parked outside my local. Bought 20 fags and 6 beers with the scrap money.

2001 Fiat Punto 1.2 which I bought brand new and lasted one whole week before starting a never-ending series of breakdowns ffs. Left it with an ex-girlfriend after she proved to be just as loose as most of the parts on the Fiat.

    1996 Proton Persona 1.6 (radiator/head gasket/steam/oil etc)

2000 Proton Satria 1.3 in GOLD!! At 8 years old, this was my second newest car ever after my disastrous Punto. Death by timing belt.

1997 Ford Ka (the wife's), sold on and saw it around for a few years.

1996 306 1.9 straight diesel with uber-cool push button ignition fitted after attempted theft screwed electrics. Free car from mother-in-law. Rear axle bowed ridiculously in the end so scrapped for £150 profit.

1999 Focus Estate (dogs bollix it was) uneconomical welding bill finished it off.

1999 Saxo 1.0 underpowered shite (catastrophic overheat - I just kept on driving through the steam cos I was very late for work)

2001 106 1.1 killed by artic on roundabout which was a damn shame cos it was immaculate (32k) and written off for double what I paid for it. #bargain

2001 Fiesta mk4 temporary comedy shite for 3 months after 106 RTA. Sold for banger racing.

    Our current "fleet" consists of:

2002 Zafira still going strong(ish) pulling our 30yr old caravan and doing runs to the scrappy.

2005 Hyundai Matrix which technically belongs to me but is too dull for words and you won't catch me dead in. Wife loves it :-/

1995 Skoda Favorit LxIE Flairline in Caribbean Green. My pride and joy shite bought for £130 (with a £500 number plate included!) as another stop gap after my Pug 106 died. Trying to resurrect it while learning how cars work (or don't).

Ramble over. Looking forward to continuing my adventures in shite in your esteemed company.
