  1. That handbrake is symbolic of my feelings for this beast.
  2. Maybe they filled it with chicken wire and wob? 😂
  3. For lots of small businesses approaching their year-end, it’s helpful to have invoices raised, even when they have no intention of demanding payment. It helps to show what amounts will be due at a later date.
  4. As someone said above, sounds like you have a good combo: good mechanicals with ‘patina’
  5. Doesn’t someone else on here have one of these? Following with interest!
  6. Down Among the Big Boys is on YouTube, here: Loads of mid-90s chod around Glasgow. The main villain (Billy Connelly) seems to be chauffeured around in a base-ish Carlton!
  7. Bangalore Tiger Grabbers have always served me well. Total bargain at £10.50 a corner. Leaves plenty in the budget for recovery and accident repairs.
  8. This is one of the best cars on here right now. So good to see these getting some proper investment.
  9. Saw your Christmas presents for refugees on Insta - your generosity is an example to us all. Shall keep my eyes peeled on your behalf, for 90s chod.
  10. That is lovely. And with your methodical attention to detail, it’s lucky to have found you. Look forward to reading more.
  11. I thought the Matra belonged to someone on here?
  12. As long as you don’t knock the wiper stalk into an on position, before you put them back on…
  13. On lighting, it’s worth checking to see if the dimming relay is still present on the rear lighting circuit. This was fitted to all later Spitfires, but was only needed for the US market. From memory you can simply remove it and instantly have brighter rear lights.
  14. I loved mine. The fuse boxes can be fragile, as can the ignition switch. They create all types of gremlins that are difficult to trace. Look forward to reading more!
  15. Are you sure they’re for humans, not horses?
  16. Love what you’re doing with this. This is one lucky Capri to find you. Sympathetically returned to the road, instead of being passed around eleventy million more owners trying to flip it for Ford Tax.
  17. I saw the very same back in April. In your photo it looks like some of the surrounding detritus has been cleared, and the tyres now have air.
  18. Hedge find In***ar for…£3.5k! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/134264350173
  19. I think compressor is actually an affectionate name for his unconscious wife.
